A slice of pizza heaven in Luxor!

As a New York City resident, I've had my share of pizza - so I was a bit skeptical at first. But I am so glad I ate here. The owner, Waleed, and his staff do an excellent job on both the pizza and pasta (didn't have the entrees, but they looked great as well). The food is really tasty... read more

i shouldn't really have been surprised to know there was a proper Italian pizza restaurant in Luxor, but what DID surprise me was how good it was. Now I'm not generally a person who eats pizza. I occasionally have a slice of my son's but never a full one. Well, I did this time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The... More

It took several strong recommendations of locals (American archaeologists living in Luxor during the work season) to convince our group to try Italian in Egypt. We were so happy we did! The food was terrific - the produce was very fresh, the menu had a wide variety (not just pizza, but pastas and entrees) and everyone in our group of... More

It looks like a Pizza, so easy to get confused. Just make sure anyone you will be with tomorrow, is dining with you! 3 of us had the Garlic bread for a starter. This was followed by one spaghetti and two pizzas with their thin Italian style breads. Like most restaurants around here, the portions are not small, so whilst... More

Found this place by accident. Gave it a try and ended up eating there every night for the 7 days I was in Luxor. It's a small restaurant with nice décor and ambiance and excellent service. I'm fairly conservative in my holiday eating and the food here was really nice. Well cooked with a great variety of pizza. Once tried... More

By luck we stumbled on Pizza Roma on a quiet Wednesday night without any research or references just down a side street from our hotel (terrible Hotel Lotus but that is another story). Clean, welcoming front of house staff. Chef and assistants viewed through window into kitchen. Fresh ingredients, salad was superb. Pizza thin crust cooked superbly. Totally recommended for... More

This is the place to be in Luxor. We went there several time during our stay, excellent pizzas, pastas, lasagne salads and steak. No hesitate and have a try.

I am not a pizza lover, though am okay when it comes my way I don't think "oh, yum, pizza". So when our friend in Luxor said this was the best Italian food he had ever had, we happily went along. I didn't want pasta, so ordered pizza. Thin crust, done to perfection. The perfect (by my vegetarian standards) combination... More

We were looking for a good meal, accessible, and clean and decided to give Pizza Roma a try. We were in general disappointed with the local cuisine and were therefore sceptical since some reviews criticized quality. I must say, I was not at all disappointed. The place is great. Good food. Relatively cheap prices and super friendly service. I was... More
