Great food & great value

This restaurant provides authentic Italian food in the middle of Luxor. The menu is what you would expect in any Italian restaurant and both the food and service is excellent. It is also great value for money.

This was our second visit to Luxor, and like last time we visited Pizza Roma It three times in 10 days. Very good Italian food, they were happy for us to bring wine in, and we tipped high for "corkage". Peta sorted out an excellent trip to Dendara for us, too. Can't recommend this place too highly.

Certainly the busiest restaurant in Luxor at the moment, and for good reason. We both had the pizza, and it was excellent. Excellent prices, good food and good service. Will be back. As someone has previously said ' a slice of pizza heaven in Luxor'.

Who would have thought you could find such delicious pizza and Italian food in Luxor? The friendly owners/staff st Pizza Roma managed to amaze a group of well-traveled New Yorkers (including this self-professed pizza snob) with their extensive menu offering lots of "artisanal" pizzas and Italian entrees. When you've tired of Egyptian/Mediterranean food and you want something yummy this is... More

Had a good visit this year - both of us had good crispy pizzas. I fancied some rose and a member of staff was despatched and returned with a bottle of Egyptian vino. Hope to return again.

As a New York City resident, I've had my share of pizza - so I was a bit skeptical at first. But I am so glad I ate here. The owner, Waleed, and his staff do an excellent job on both the pizza and pasta (didn't have the entrees, but they looked great as well). The food is really tasty... More

i shouldn't really have been surprised to know there was a proper Italian pizza restaurant in Luxor, but what DID surprise me was how good it was. Now I'm not generally a person who eats pizza. I occasionally have a slice of my son's but never a full one. Well, I did this time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The... More

It took several strong recommendations of locals (American archaeologists living in Luxor during the work season) to convince our group to try Italian in Egypt. We were so happy we did! The food was terrific - the produce was very fresh, the menu had a wide variety (not just pizza, but pastas and entrees) and everyone in our group of... More

It looks like a Pizza, so easy to get confused. Just make sure anyone you will be with tomorrow, is dining with you! 3 of us had the Garlic bread for a starter. This was followed by one spaghetti and two pizzas with their thin Italian style breads. Like most restaurants around here, the portions are not small, so whilst... More
