As soon as you walk in you see British flags and all types of irsh posters. I was excited i saw Guinness poster and wanted a Guinness but well all they have is local beer and heiniken on tap. That is a rare find in egypt. The burgers were very good and the service was kinda strange. We wanted... read more

This place definitely mimics a English pub, but without the hand-pulled ales. The pub is a meeting place for ex-pats, but is certainly geared for tourists. The staff are friendly and do not hassle you. The menu has European dishes. The drinks prices are inflated to match hotel prices.

Read the website for the Kings Head, looked cheap and menu good. However- its fairly grotty inside. The menu was different to the website and also the prices were higher than advertised. The bar staff had no idea about the food or drinks, clearly didnt know the menu at all. The food was poor, the Caesar salad was not Caesar,... More

Used a groupon, burger was great, but there were only 4 steak fries on the plate. I felt it was a little cheap that i could count the number of fries on the plate before the plate even hit the table. The burger was good though. The menu layout needs an overhaul. Its just difficult to read, and not so... More

You have to look very carefully for the entrance to the KINGS HEAD. It is situated on the opposite side of the road to the Sonesta & Steinberger Nile Palace hotels and you have to enter through a passageway of shops, then climb several flights of stairs. The climb is worth it because you enter into a pub style bar... More

A friendly bar with good food ( especially the chicken tikka) and very reasonable prices. Shady, Georgina & the boys are always welcoming & smiling. Pool table and sports on TV. I recommend this pub whole heartedly.
