Great place if you want to catch up with sport. Food horrendous, can still feel the old oil our food was cooked in on the roof of my mouth.

Came here for lunch after failing to find another place and finding everything else closed. Glad we ended up here! proper pub with the footy on, nice staff, very strong cocktails and good food. I had the mixed grill, the girly had fish & chips, we had a side of chicken wings, was a lovely lunch. Wanted to come for... More

We visit Luxor regularly and King’s Head is handy to meet friends for a drink before going to local restaurants. It’s not easy to find, but there is an arrow sign on the street if you can keep your eyes peeled whilst sidestepping the caleche and taxi drivers. Go thro an entrance to a mini-arcade of tatty shops then up... More

Cant quite see why this place gets such good reviews. Entrance is via a passageway. full of vendors selling the usual tourist tat. Food is mediocre. Then to top it all they closed at 10.30 sharp. Not a good experiance. There are deffo better places than this in Luxor.

After just spending 16 nights in Luxor, we spent ever night at the Kings Head, usually before heading off to one of the local restaurants to eat. There is a wide range of drinks available. They will do you a juice or a coffee if you don't fancy anything alcoholic. There are always non - alcoholic cocktails too. We also... More

Have been to this restaurant on several occasions on previous trips. Food is still excellent, service great and the beer is always cold. Because of the political situation in Egypt, there was no patrons on the night we dined there - like VIP service. Nevertheless, our drink and food orders arrived in a timely manner and was excellent very unlike... More

This pub was opposite our hotel through a small arcade of shops and up a few flights of stairs, well worth the climb. Its friendly and serves reasonably priced food. Posters of Bob Marley adorn the walls and it feels like a authentic English pub. If you want a few drinks away from the hotel in a relaxed and comfortable... More

Fantastic welcome from the owner, a really good burger and pint of lager. We vowed we wouldn't do an "English" Pub on holiday in Egypt or anywhere else, but relented out of curiosity. Glad we did. It is great fun for a quick meal or pre dinner drink at reasonable non-hotel prices. -best burger I've had anywhere for a very... More
