Great pub, great food and great prices. The staff are friendly and really helpful when asking them about other restaurants, where to go etc. visited here a few years ago where there was a few of us and we got challenged by the staff to a game of 7 a side football which was my fondest memory of going to... A friendly bar with good food ( especially the chicken tikka) and very reasonable prices. Shady, Georgina & the boys are always welcoming & smiling. Pool table and sports on TV. I recommend this pub whole heartedly.

I didn't eat here but I stopped off for a beer. A football game was on and watched that. Most tourist bars are empty or closed at the moment so you just have to get what you are given

Friendly staff and good service but, this unit is dated and needs money spent to bring into the 21st Century. Not helped in the current climate with a very limited number of tourists. Well located within a stroll of several large hotels but could do better.

I found the on the Internet 2 weeks before we flew out, and emailed them purely to see if they were showing a for all match I wanted to watch, which they were. On arrival in Egypt we checked in to the apartment and headed down here promptly. As people are saying it is tucked away down a side street... More

This pub really made Christmas eve worthwile! The people are friendly and the atmosphere homey. Great pub, great people, good prices. Please note! The pub is not at the place where Google Maps says it is - it is in the street where most of the hotels are. Look out for the sign as it is on the 2nd floor.

Bar was devoid of any atmosphere whatsoever, decor is one notch above cheesey and the toilets are a disgrace, would not really recommend a visit as it proports to be an English bar but is not.

I normally avoid English and Irish pubs like the plague when abroad. However, this is a superb place for a quiet pint and excellent value food right opposite the main tourist hotels of the Sonesta and Nile Palace. Don't be put off by the building - head right on up the stairs and into a little haven for a pint... More

The King's Head is definatly our local in Luxor, being straight across the road from the Sonesta Hotel. Just cross the road from the Sonesta, Lotus or Nile Palace and the Kings Head is on the 3rd floor of the building on the corner, opposite Tesco's. Entry is through a small parade of shops, where the stairs are half way... More
