Very friendly outdoor place across from luxor temple. Entrance a bit covered in trees but make sure you go for a visit. Don't be too concerned by the cats, they seem to stay away. We had omelette and chips and a few Stella. Simple cheap food and excellent service. Maybe got a wee bit hassle to buy things from stall... More

Didn't eat here this visit but went most evenings for a few drinks despite being all inclusive at a hotel close by. The beer is ice cold and very very cheap, the sisha is amasing and the view fantastic. It is really relaxing sitting in the garden watching the people go by whilst looking at Luxor Temple. A few local... More

Menu is simple, mainly salads, snacks and drinks. Quality of food is fine. Service is nice and location is excellent - just opposite the Luxor Temple.

I just love Sindbads. No hassle at all. The staff are so friendly. Prices are cheap, nothing amazing about the food but it is edible, you get what you pay for as they say. so a snack is good value in my eyes. Smashing little place to watch the world go by and the people that are passing.

I have drunk here before and been hassled to buy bits and pieces although not on this occasion. Cheap place to drink but only had the one because our wine was awful and tasted like sherry and came in a very small glass. The local children inside were hurling stones at the poor cats and kittens which were trying to... More

Behind Luxor Temple, Sindbad is a fantastic spot for a cheap (LE10), cold Stella and a quick bite to eat. Sindbads is simply a shady little garden with basic tables and chairs so don't expect anything to spectacular... apart from the view! The basic food on the menu (Egyptian kebabs, pizza and chips) are cheap and great for a snack... More

Great little upstairs bar overlooking Luxor Temple. Ice cold Stella beer at cheap prices in authentic surroundings.

The calesh driver took us here. We were constantly harassed by vendors whilst waiting half an hour for the food to arrive. The husband's chicken kebab was cold but edible. Sadly my vegetable curry was vile. Literally an unwashed turnip and unwashed carrot boiled to death and then some poor quality curry powder stirred in. And some cold chips. Oh... More

I ate in this restaurant on a couple of times. The food is cheap but the dishes I had were very tasty. One of the few restaurants that still sell alcohol. It's also in a good central location behind the Luxor Temple.
