Ordinary restaurant

Here i have eaten just an ordinary meal, which was ok, and nothing to negative to remark on, but on the other hand not special. Soup as a starter, then the usual salad, humus, bread,.... As a main i had grilled chicken, again a ok but not special (served with rice and fries).

stayed at Hilton Luxor and took dinner 3 times there during my 10 days stay. There are 7 or 8 set menus and each comprises of 3 kinds of salad or pickles, main dish and sweets. That is why I like this restaurant much besides the taste itself. The price is, including one drink and tax and service charges, around... More

Any driver or any tour guide who takes you here gets commission, so your bill is considerably higher because of this. Each meal was 85 then they add their own tip and tax. We payed over 350 for two meals and drinks and our driver got a nice chunk. The food however was very tasty, very Egyptian, and the service... More

Was taken by our tour guide for lunch at Luxor, the restaurant is arranged in the first level, pretty neatly arranged and stylish furniture. Many tours and travels getting their guests here The menu consisted of set-menu with two options available to us. The mixed-grill and the grilled chicken and we went for both of them. We were first served... More

We visited this restaurant for a late lunch and were not disappointed. We went for the set menu of sheesh kebabs and grilled fish. The portions were huge and delicious. The lentil soup was absolutely beautifully seasoned. We loved the pita, hummus and the different salads that came next. The service was good and people friendly. However, we were surprised... More

We went for the set menu. The tagibe was cold and obvioudly been microwaved - we sent it back. It was slightly warmer when it arrived again. The det menu came eith dessertbit ee wete told thete was none. The slow, unattentive service came with a bill which over charged for water and a 20% tax on it - which... More

During our trip to Luxor we picked the oriental food option for lunch and we had it at EL Hussein. The guys are very friendly and smiling, the service and the food quality were very good. We had Sheish Kabab and it was very tasty.

Our driver and guide arranged lunch here and we liked the lentil soup so much we had seconds. The small plates of salad were also nice and the lamb not too spicy. The fish had a lovely batter, not too thick and my husband enjoyed the grilled chicken. We enjoyed lunch so much we went back for dinner.

I wish I had decided not to revisit this restaurant as the entire experience was awful. It no longer lives up to its former reputation and I strongly suggest you give it a miss. The menu remains the same as over a year ago, but you will be lucky if they can offer you even 1% of what is on... More

We had a really nice lunch at El Hussein while on our tour of Luxor. We were welcomed by the staff with a smile and we had a nice table. Our guides arranged our lunch menu and have to say, it was all great! The lunch started with a nice homemade soup and then many little plates were brought to... More
