The food and service were both good but the standard was similar to competitors who were slightly cheaper. Having said that, by Western standards its still really cheap. more

Ate here a week ago the food was excellent.We shared the homemade pate wich was really good .I had the egyptian chicken tagine it really was lovely would recommend it. my husband was fancying english ,he went for the roast beef with all the trimmings .this was also excellent. Really great welcome from the owner who was very apologetic that she had had to turn us away twice as they had been full. We stopped by Puddleduck for lunch one day and decided to go back for dinner on the last night of our holiday as we enjoyed the lunch so much. The food is excellent and the service superb, be sure to book as it is very busy, and make sure you try the lemon cheesecake! more

just returned from luxor........puddleducks is still as good as when we went in august. they close on wednesday but every other day the menu changes. australian lamb/steak/savoury pancakes and lasagne is some of the dishes we had.....thnx to jill and mick more
