We visited Egypt 1 week ago. We had wonderful food at Chef Khali and El Masri in Aswan. We were most disappointed in the quality of both the food and the service at Sofra in Luxor. The clerk at the cashier was coughing the whole time as well. more

When we eventually found Sofra (it is in a side street) We enjoyed the food and fresh juices in the upstairs restaurant, The mango juice, Koshry and Koftas were excellent, as were the low prices. We ate here several times during our holiday and were never disappointed. We would highly recommend it for a real taste of Egypt. more
