Excellent meal and very clean, well worth eating here. Staff very polite and welcoming. Would recommend a visit.
Skip Nile Valley and please, DO keep your money in your pocket if you like real authentic Egyptian food. Sorry for the owners of Nile Valley, but the facts are: My Kofta was being served cold, mainly because a large Dutch group/family (Touristbusses do stop at your place !!!) got all the attention of the staff. The vegetables were not... More
The Nile Valley Hotel Restaurant has an extensive menu with both European and Egyptian dishes, prices are very reasonable and alcohol is served. Excellent service and food has always been good. The restaurant is situated on a terrace with views over the Nile towards Luxor temple, absolutely stunning in the evening when the temple is illuminated.
the food was beautiful, staff fantastic, friendly, i had a beautiful romantic meal with my partner and the staff and surroundings made us feel warm and welcome. best place so far iv been to in luxor and id go again and again. brilliant
Lovely food with good service on the roof - try a pizza, they are very very nice !
The food is OK. Nothing spectacular, the Egyptian mixed grill I had was similar to what you can get at numerous other restaurants in Luxor. What does make this place stand out is the setting. Placed on the west bank of the Nile, it is the ideal place to catch the ferry to, enjoy an iced coffee and watch the... More
We have visited this restaurant many times over the years. Very quiet this time and the food seemed to have improved. We had several lunches and one evening meal. Easy to get to on the ferry and is just to the left of the ferry landing. We visited on a very hot evening. Nice and cool on the ferry. Salads,... More
We ate in the Nile Valley after a morning of sight seeing on the West Bank, before taking the ferry back to Luxor. The restaurant is on the top floor of a hotel. You can sit in the sun or in the shade. The menu was varied and the food of reasonable quality. We're vegetarian and there were several suitable... More
Crossed the Nile for dinner - well, it's the nearest I'll get to a dinner cruise! LE2 return pp. Very quiet, just one other table filled, a bit tatty round the edges but good value & well cooked. Veal escalope, chicken tawouk, large water & 4 soft drinks = LE107. Beautiful setting, very peaceful, will go again, despite the holes... More
This is a delightful place to eat out at and is my favorite on the West Bank. __The restaurant is situated on the roof; it is covered to keep you out of the sun and has ceiling fans to keep you cool. The views of Ramla and the Nile across to the Luxor temple are stunning. You can enjoy a... More
