We were a party of 11 on the evening we ate at the Al-Sahaby. We arrived onto the roof terrace restaurant to be greated by amazing views of Luxor temple and the West Bank - so the evening was memorable before we even began to think about the food. There was a huge range and something for everyone. So our... More

This is the best meal I've had in Egypt. The head cook Gbrele really knows his stuff. I had the Vegetable Maqara'a and my friend had the Al-Sahaby Tagi. Both were amaaaaazing. The Baba Ganoush was really tasty, too. Very different flavor than other Baba I've had here. The restaurant is on top of the Nefertiti hotel. The view of... More

We ate here quite a bit during our stay in Luxor. The food is tasty and the prices were good. Gbrele, the chef is lovely, as are the rest of the staff. They cater for all tastes, western and local, which was great as I got to try things I normally wouldn't, like Camel. The view from the rooftop is... More

Must try the Camel Meat dish and the Stuffed Pigeon. This restaurant has a beautiful outdoor setting under the cover of vines for shade right in the heart of Luxor opposite the Luxor Temple. Service is super friendly and the food is superb. A must visit for any visitor to Luxor.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The view on the balcony is amazing. The food is very good and well made. There's not a lot of options in the area but this place has good prices for a quality meal. The breakfasts that were included with the hotel were not fantastic but adequate.

Worth a visit for the view alone, over Luxor Temple and across the Nile. You can eat downstairs outside which is a pleasant setting but it's worth going up to the top floor restaurant. Food is excellent too - equally as good as Sofra. There are Bedouin specialities which you generally have to order in advance but the camel tagine... More

Very nice restaurant on the roof of Nefertity Hotel. Food is fine and service is also very good. I had dinner their many times with friends and was always satisfied. Now they made some renovation - new lightning, music... It's really one of my favourite eating places in Luxor)
