We ate twice in this restaurant, good quality food and with tourists being in short supply the were doing a 30% discount, this makes it good value too. A welcome alternative to the hodge podge offered in the hotel. Nice to see Japanese eating here and enjoying the chef's offerings. We had Tepanyaki on two occasions and both were a delight in terms of presentation, taste and authenticity. Beer was a bit expensive!

Have visited this restaurant many times and is consistently good. The teppanykai table is worth reserving and the chef always puts on a good show. Give it a go.

We enjoyed every meal here, it is the best eatery in Sonesta St George - you don't have to stay at the hotel to eat there. The staff were very friendly and helpful (advice on Gluten Free food - we took our own soy Sauce). They do an excellent Sushi Sashimi plater and also a tapanyaki display
