Our tour guide grabbed takeout lunch for us in this chain the first day-chicken and beef sandwiches. Tasty, warm and quick and to our Canadian budget, great prices. Didn't eat in so can't comment on that aspect We wound up having lunch from here all three days- and enjoyed it every time

Gad does extremely tasty barbeque chicken dishes, but is quite expensive compared to most egyptian takeout. Having said that, for foreigners it is very cheap. A simple chicken and rice meal is recommended.

We went to GAD during Dinner time. We ordered a soup and 2 different vegetarian Falafels. Everything tasted good BUT came out really cold. A cold soup is no fun. The people were nice and very helpful. Will try again, and maybe ask for temparature hot food.

We ordered a meal for 5 people and it came to 90LE which is super cheap, the food was also really delicious so we ended up going there about 4 times during our trip and were never disappointed.

We ate at a couple of GAD Restaurants in Cairo and found them to be very good for the inexpensive price. We always eat local food wherever we travel, and GAD did not disappoint. Would recommend eating at any GAD, downstairs is more for take-out, head upstairs for nicer seating and a bit of a local view.

Little branch of an egyptian chain, makes feteer, pizza, rice, shawarma, and other egyptian food. Good and cheap, it is not a super restaurant, but if you seat upstairs it coluld seem so
