Visited Piccolo Mondo last week for dinner with clients from Cairo & guests from Denmark. Had booked the round table closest to the Nile which never fails to impress my guests. The main waiter, Khaled that I happen to know for more than 15 years was waiting for us & escorted us to our table. The restaurant was almost full... More

Most dishes on the menu of this restaurant are served with heavy/fatty sauces. Taste is good, but there are not much healthy options on the menu. Service is good and view of the Nile is nice, but prices are far higher than similar quality restaurants in the city.

This restaurant is one of the group on a boat on the banks of the Nile on fashionable Zamalek island, Cairo. The food was ok: excellent greek salad and onion soup to start with, followed by a good fillet steak au poivre and grilled prawns (nothing special). Dessert with good icecream. But the service was intermittently appalling. We asked for... More

This is a truly wonderful place to eat. It is situated on the Nile so the views are nice. The décor is absolutely amazing and the food good. However, I found the staff surly and slow.

It is a boat with several restaurants inside. We decided to go to Piccolo Mondo-Italian restaurant. It was very good place to come with family. you have nice view and the food is amazing! Delish! the service though is super slow! which we complained since there were only 4 tables with guest they should have been better. Aside from this... More

Great atmosphere, good service, top notch food (starters, main dishes, desserts, drinks) all are really amazing. It's on the expensive side but a must have experience.

Le pacha its a big boath with several resturants inside. We tried the steakhouse with a good satisfaction. The resturant has a french appeal but they serve most international and egyptian dishes. We took beef filet, red french wine (yes they have wine) and several desserts. The quality of food was good, mot the same about the service, the waiter... More

Lunch at Maharani Appetizers were excellent, the Dal and Paneer were both delicious and came in generous portions The naan was fresh but was not authentic Indian bread, more like Egyptian savory pastry. The main dish was a sad surprise both in quality and quantity. The shrimp curry was bland in flavor and short on shrimp! We paid 130 EGP... More

I may not be the biggest fan of the place because of the prices, 'BUT' if I'm eating steak that good then it's worth it. Very nice atmosphere with a beautiful view of the Nile river. Highly recommended for romantic couples. The service is very good and staff are very helpful. A very nice experience. My wife and I celebrated... More
