Located in Zamalek , Cairo , in the first floor in an Fantastic buildings , teppical Italian food , soups , salad , main dishes are so testy and nice. From the inside old decoration gives you the impression that it is an old English style. Recommend for those who likes antique places.

I found a Coach Roach in the tomato soup , the staff attitude was very rude. I will never visit this place again.

Some Egyptian friends advised us to meet at La Bodega for a drink before we joined another place for dinner. Frankly speaking we should have spent the dinner here as well. La Bodega is located next to Marriott hotel in Zamalek. It is easy to park the car under the bridges (safe car park under permanent surveillance). The building looks... More

Aperittivo is Extremely expensive and no value for money, the pasta was over cooked and cost almost 200 pounds! ! The place is very dark while the menu is so small and unreadable

La Bodega is hidden in the first floor of a quite old mansion in Zamalek. We visited it twice during our stay in Cairo. The service is excellent and there is a great variety of dishes to select from. Each one of them is really special, we prefered chicken and salmon --- they were magnificent !! The atmosphere and the... More

I've been here many times and it's one of my favorite restaurants in Cairo. It's located on the first floor of an old building in Zamalek. The food is great and the service excellent. Price is fairly good, not too cheap, not too expensive. There is only one drawback: smoke. It's still permitted to smoke inside the restaurant and the... More

Hidden away in a house (Boehlers Mansion) which you won't easily find - and without any sign outside the building - there are two lovely (rather upmarket) places on the first floor. Walk - or take the wonderful century-old art-deco elevator. The "Aperitivo" is a bit more lively, loud - supposedly "Italian". The "Bodega" is more dinner-wise. Great food. Good... More
