Great atmosphere. Amazing service. A lot of foreigners and locals. It's a place you don't want to leave....

After a couple of meetings in Zamalek we ducked in to La Bodega with a visiting colleague who had heard so much about it and expressed a long desire to eat there. We found the larger and newer side was "closed." It was being remodeled but I didn't get the sense that it will reopen as La Bodega or if... More

I have eaten at La Bodega twice and I have to say that it was the best food I've had in Cairo. The quality of flavors and preparation was great in comparison with other nearby options in Zamalek. I loved the atmosphere, even when the power was out for hours! The service did take a very long time, even though... More

A place to special occasions. Great design and atmosphere, quality of the food are ok, good choice of alcoholic beverages and the staff are always present with a smile and the level of English is the best that I catch so far, in Cairo. The only negative aspect goes to the price...700EGP for 2 persons, seems unreal for the reality... More

As a newcomer to Cairo and having heard a lot about and having read several reviews about La Bodega, maybe my expectations were too high. I expected a full house, at least half of which were ex-pats, a lively bar scene, and excellent food. What I actually found was an establishment that is, literally, only half of what it used... Located in Zamalek , Cairo , in the first floor in an Fantastic buildings , teppical Italian food , soups , salad , main dishes are so testy and nice. From the inside old decoration gives you the impression that it is an old English style. Recommend for those who likes antique places.

I found a Coach Roach in the tomato soup , the staff attitude was very rude. I will never visit this place again.

Some Egyptian friends advised us to meet at La Bodega for a drink before we joined another place for dinner. Frankly speaking we should have spent the dinner here as well. La Bodega is located next to Marriott hotel in Zamalek. It is easy to park the car under the bridges (safe car park under permanent surveillance). The building looks... More
