Look for the "Blue Door"

Clean and simple place with a single long table down the middle of the restaurant that can seat 6-8 people. Don't go upstairs looking for more seats - there aren't any! This is simple Egyptian Food that is very good served by friendly staff.

I just love Zooba. No need to worry (last I checked) about hygiene while enjoying the typical street dishes from beloved Egypt. When I first tried it, I was surprised no one thought about opening a place like that before. It just makes sense!!! Note: try the special blend Koshari but only if you know the original one. The fries... More

So we made several trips to zooba. Everything we had was very good. The bread was nice and fresh. The people were friendly. The fruit drinks were amazing. We did not try the koshery but it looked amazing. We arrived one day to find it full and were sad. We left and csme back an hour later and got seats.... More

We went here for dinner while we were in Cairo. The place was a small trendy looking restaurant with a large community table. They had lots of fresh baked goods and dips on their walls for sale. We tried their Roasted Pepper dip which was very nice. The sandwiches and Koshary were also great! Would definitely recommend a visit.

If you like to get a real Egyptian breakfast or sandwiches with 300% more than the normal prices, you can visit them :) May be they are targeting a special segment to be their customers. Food is nice , place is nice , prices are crazy

Excellent food quality and great new blends of traditional foods, very friendly staff, very fast service (when they're not over crowded). Their only downside is the over pricing.

Zooba offers tasty Egyptian traditional food in a modern way. Especially if you have international guests out of Egypt, it is the best to choose.

Loved not just the design which makes it really attractive. The food is like what my uncle Sami, real Cairo citizen transplanted in Milano, was making me tasting. Young personell is efficient and makes you feel comfortable. A surprise in one of the most fascinating streets of Zamalek.

Zooba is one of the leading new restaurants in Egypt that are serving Egyptian street food as a high end meal. THE AMBIENCE I believe it is two floors we sat in the ground floor as soon as we entered. It is one long table so you are almost sitting with people that you don’t know. It is an interesting...
