Little Swiss is a most unusual restaurant in Cairo. Firstly, and generally speaking of the Egyptian population, how many people have actually been in Switzerland, much less eaten in one? They do not know what they are missing. Little Swiss is an interestingly decorated, comfortable, romantic restaurant located on a tree lined boulevard in a generally residential area. It is... More

We have lived within short walking distance of the Little Swiss for nearly a year, and we've never tried it. What a mistake. Carola, the daughter of the owners, welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. We had a delicious salad with a tangy homemade dressing to start with, and then the Cheese Fondue with Morel mushrooms.... More

The best Fondue ever, great setting, cozy and a most welcoming owner. If you like fondue you don't want to miss this. The cheese and tomato fondue are both amazing but the mixed platter is not to be missed. You grill your own small pieces of meat and chicken, add your selection of spices, all on a small cute grill... More

Little Swiss is a nice place with a nice atmosphere. However, the fondu leaves a lot to be desired since you only have "bread" as your dipping option, and the fondu varieties are 4 that are not even worth trying. They are all the same. Apart from that, the place is EXTREMELY overpriced, fo no good reason. If I had... More

This is one of the best gems in Egypt. The owner is very a hospitable and lovely Swiss Lady with her family helping out. From the point you get in you are very well treated and welcomed. They have the best cheese fondue in town. The cheese with mushroom and the cheese with tomato are great and very much recommended.... More

Excellent food, great hospitality, will always return again and again. The repeatability of the food standards is amazing. They never miss a beat.

A quirky decorated restaurant which does what it says on the menu! Serves traditional swiss fondu and raclette with authentic ingredients. Host Charlotte is welcoming and attentive. We sampled the half raclette and half chicken grill served with pickles and expected accompaniments. Pleasant atmosphere and steady flow of clients - several families and children were enjoying cooking their meals at... More

We dined last week in this nice restaurant. The restaurant owner is a warm welcoming & charming lady. The menu has most of a person can expect in a swiss restaurant. Food is great & tasty. Prices are somewhat expensive. It is obvious that the place was a residential flat, but the restaurant owner turned it into a restaurant. The... More
