Nice back in traditional old restaurant in Cairo

First no advertising except an old wood door. You push it and discover an antique atmosphere . The table are a large round metal top and all the various arabic food will give the pleasure for your evening. Arabic music is not to much and leave you to enjoy a normal speaking with your friends. We were really looking forward to have dinner at Abu Elsid only to be greatly disappointed by the experience especially by the service. We ordered vegetable soup, sharkasia dish, 2 pigeons, vine leaves, lemon juice and a large draft beer. The vegetable soup, sharkasia dish were good and the vine leaves were OK. The 2 pigeons however did not taste... More

wen to the one In Zamalek and experience was OK if you are looking for quick local experience , reasonably rices , however service needs to be more attentive and would recommend to stop Shiha in the Resturant as sometimes you can't breath with all smoke around you.

One of the best in Egypt indeed!! Great for business and tourists to taste the local Egyptian CLEAN cuisine. Must try especially the "Fatta" which is surprisingly the cheapest on the menu!!

The food in this restaurant is excellent quality and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very good. It's quite expensive for Egyptian prices but the quality is worth it. Phoning ahead and making a booking is advisable as they are always busy. Can recommend the pigeon for main course (tastes better than you'd think) and om ali for pudding

Amazing Egyptian food served by the worst, unprofessional , dull , unfriendly waiters and managers you could possibly meet, thus made it a poor dining experience especially that there are other better alternatives for Egyptian food.
