We came here on the recommendation of some Egyptian friends and found it to be quite charming. Come by for a break with some tea and hookah (that's pretty much all there is on the menu). This shop has an ambiance of timelessness. Serves excellent mint tea. You sit and watch the world go by.... undisturbed, except for occasional friendly glances...

Friendly service in the middle of a bustling suq. We learnt all about the history from the proprioter. Delicious traditional coffee made to order. A place to linger to listen and watch the world go by. Sitting outside on the street or inside traditional furnishings

This place is a very very old coffee shop with rows of outside seating. It has a historical loyalty from travellers. You are hassle deveru minute by street traders, and the staff do nothing to stop it. most of Egyptian people go there to smoke shisha i find it very fun the prices are reasonable and the coffeehouse is always crowded

This old restaurant is a classic and a must visit if you want to take in all thats CAIRO. One can spend hours in there and be amazed every time. the hummus drink, the egyptian coffee, the people, the sellers, the waiters, the antiques....it is a cultural cornocopia..must experience it when in Cairo.

the original shisha place in khan elkhalili. you feel the history in every corner, the vintage mirrors, seats and pictures. Enjoy your drinks, amazingly horrible shisha in the heart of AlHussain. be ware of beggars.
