Fishawi's, an iconic coffee house, is a landmark in itself. There are few specific things to see in the Khan el-Khalili souk, but Fishawi’s Coffeehouse, is an absolute must. Its on a small alley in the souk, having huge mirrors hung on the walls and its packed day and night. It claims to have been open continuously since the year... More

If you want to get through true feel of life in Cairo...this is a must stop. We sat here in the evening to enjoy beverages and soak in the ambience. No regrets. Yes there are peddlers and beggars that will stop by, just say no. We actually had fun talking with a few of the peddlers and they chuckled with... More

Classic, old cafe stuffed with locals and tourists. Not sure if one really goes for the smoke or coffee, but the atmosphere is unbeatable. One can sit there for hours taking in the sights and sounds and drift off. No laptops, piped in music, or moccha frappucinni--praise be to God.

If you want a taste of the old egypt this would be a place not to miss... There you won't get the best service but you will feel how it used to be back in the days and the walls speak for it selves! There you feel a go back in time when everything was simply with the good old... More

A 1900s tea house buried in the Khan El Khalili Souk - truly a unique experience with echoes of a bygone time. Just to sit, drink tea and absorb the energy of the market life is a wonderful experience. Tip ; ask the waiter to sell you a one person tea pot - you won't find a souvenir like it... More

if you are visiting cairo. Your trip is not complete if you dont visit Alhusain, and your visit to alhusain is not perfect if you dont visit Alfeshawi. It is old cafe, i like it although it is crowded always. I recommend it strongly for tea.

The Egyptian experience in a glass bottle. Enjoy your tea with mint leaves or a strong cup of Turkish coffee. All the egyptian hot and cold drinks with a great shisha. In the heart of khan el khalily, expect to be a little jammed with your seat, but it's worthwhile.

this place is a little hard to find- i've tried on several trips to cairo. try shisha (hookah) and mint tea in this timeless cafe. the hawkers made enjoying the otherwise beautiful atmosphere a little difficult, but still worth the visit.

Suddenly, you have been flying using a carpet to old Basra in Baghdad where you can meet Aly Baba and enjoy the ancient history, shisha, tea with mint, oriental food, watching ppl come n go, if you are a foreigner you will enjoy it, service is good and rapid.
