If you want a taste of the old egypt this would be a place not to miss... There you won't get the best service but you will feel how it used to be back in the days and the walls speak for it selves! There you feel a go back in time when everything was simply with the good old... More

A 1900s tea house buried in the Khan El Khalili Souk - truly a unique experience with echoes of a bygone time. Just to sit, drink tea and absorb the energy of the market life is a wonderful experience. Tip ; ask the waiter to sell you a one person tea pot - you won't find a souvenir like it... More

if you are visiting cairo. Your trip is not complete if you dont visit Alhusain, and your visit to alhusain is not perfect if you dont visit Alfeshawi. It is old cafe, i like it although it is crowded always. I recommend it strongly for tea.

The Egyptian experience in a glass bottle. Enjoy your tea with mint leaves or a strong cup of Turkish coffee. All the egyptian hot and cold drinks with a great shisha. In the heart of khan el khalily, expect to be a little jammed with your seat, but it's worthwhile.

this place is a little hard to find- i've tried on several trips to cairo. try shisha (hookah) and mint tea in this timeless cafe. the hawkers made enjoying the otherwise beautiful atmosphere a little difficult, but still worth the visit.

Suddenly, you have been flying using a carpet to old Basra in Baghdad where you can meet Aly Baba and enjoy the ancient history, shisha, tea with mint, oriental food, watching ppl come n go, if you are a foreigner you will enjoy it, service is good and rapid.

This cafe was recommended to us by friends and it was not a disappointment. The ambience, the drinks and the service were top class. The only irritating thing was the continuous bothering by hawkers who wanted to sell their wares. This has to be turned away with a firm no, lest they bother you the entire stay.

A visit to Fishawi is a must for anyone who is going to or lives in Cairo. As you sit there you can really feel the history of the old part of Cairo and you can imagine all the people who must have sat there over the decades - it's just beautiful and worth it for the atmosphere. The tea... More

We came here on the recommendation of some Egyptian friends and found it to be quite charming. Come by for a break with some tea and hookah (that's pretty much all there is on the menu). The cafe is very old and doesn't seem to have changed much since. Get a seat outside and watch all the people passing. The... More

This shop has an ambiance of timelessness. Serves excellent mint tea. You sit and watch the world go by.... undisturbed, except for occasional friendly glances...
