Sabaya may be rooted in Lebanese tradition, but Chef Nasser Makhoul is willing to branch out with contemporary flair. Mezzas are the magic of the menu, with hot and cold options including Kebbe Nayye, Stuffed Vine Leaves, Hommow Bil Awarma, Makanik and Cheese Manaqish. In accordance with Lebanese custom, you’ll be brought to the lounge for after-dinner tea, sweets and conversation.Location: In the Semiramis InterContinental Cairo Hotel - 2nd level Services: Lunch | Dinner

Good food but nothing extra ordinary

The food was good but not extra ordinary. If you are staying at the Hotel, then try it. No need to make a special trip. Do not order fish as it was not worth it. I have had better Lebanese food for a much better price.

One of the best places to have fine dining at. Service is amazing and waiters are cheerful and always friendly. Every time I went there, they always offered us desserts for free complimentary from their side. I highly recommend it.

A very nice place to have dinner with your wife, couple, family or friends. Price is good; average 30 dollars for a person. Food is tasty and service is warm and people are nice.

Came here because the suggestion from our guidebook (Gad) from the previous night wasn't good, and it's suggestion for our evening was a restaurant that no longer existed. Sigh. Luckily, we had access to TripAdvisor and this looked like an easy and reliable option. It turned out to be so much more! We had an early dinner since we needed... More

Excellent Lebanese food in an atrocious building. The Set menu was far too large for two of us to fully finish, but is a great way of. Sampling much of what is on offer. The mezzes were terrific, & knowing we had yet to have the main course, took half away with us for next days lunch. There are 2... More

Guided by the excellent ratings in Trip Advisor, we went to the Sabaya and definitely did not regret. We ordered a good variety of hot and cold mezze, which were all excellent. My husband had a seafood soup, which was very tasty and with a good variety of fish. We also had a chicken broth which was definitely one of... More

Great Lebanese food and the service was wonderful (and friendly). The chef even prepared my favorite kafta dish to take care of a dietary issue. If you are in Cairo don't miss the chance to have a meal at Sabaya at the Semiramis.

We found the Sabaya because we were staying at the Intercon, and it was our favorite restaurant in the hotel. It was one of the best meals that we had on our trip. The food was delicious, and the portions sized very generously. We thought the pricing was fair, and the service was excellent. It was probably the most attentive... More

A nice place to go for a good Lebanese dinner. Food is tasty and served in big quantity. It does worth to try many dishes but probably you don't need to ask cause the personnel will take care of you in particular if Mr. Hany is there. The place is quite and clean. Everything is confortable and it is nice... More
