Good Indian food

Near to my hotel and in a busy part of Myeongdong. Very nice atmosphere and attentive service. Tasty food and reasonable price. I enjoyed my dinner here.

Located in a basement, the restaurant has a excellent decor, attentive staff, very good service, good food with mid-range prices. It's a very good choice to include in your visit to Myeong-dong. Mostly for business clientele.

The food, ambiance, service, all was fantastic. It is reasonable in price and has India flavor. On the first occasion, difficult to find but overall excellent veg food and helped me to stay in Seoul for 3 weeks :)

We arrived in Seoul last Saturday in the evening, was raining and we looked out for a restaurant nearest to our hotel @ holiday inn express. The Taj happened to be nearest at Myeongdong so we decided to give a go. We ordered a vegetarian biriyani, fish curry, palak paneer and some naan. I found them to be very tasty,... More

Great to find a place to eat Indian Food. Its an oasis in a desert for those desperate for Indian food. If you are not desperate, you don't have to regret for skipping it.

Overall average! I went there on purpose after reading reviews and I was disappointed. It is far by being a restaurant to put effort to find. If it happens to be in the neighborhood and funcy indian food (which I do a lot) you may consider it. Food it is too spicy, relatively expensive and not very tasty but not... More

The restaurant is just across the Myeong-dong cathedral. It has various vegetarian menus. The waiters are dressed in an authentic Indian suits, decorations in the restaurants are very nice and wonderful. The foods are great, full with spice and flavor. I visited there two time during my 5 days trips in Seoul. I had ordered Palak paneer, Masala papad, Vegeterain... More

It took a bit to find, but it was well worth it. The food is authentic and served with a smile. It is one of the few restaurants not staffed by Koreans, but it is still more spicy than you would expect. It does not open late, so check times before you take the trek.

Very good food. Variety of dishes. Staff are polite and co-op. Should visit again and try the tasty Indian food. The area of the restaurant is amazing.

Staying in Myeongdong / Namdaemun

Neighborhood Profile
Myeongdong / Namdaemun
Arguably Seoul’s most famous neighborhood and undoubtedly one of its most popular, Myeongdong takes shopping and eating to new heights, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafes all stacked on top of one another. The rise in popularity of Korean cosmetics, fashion, and more has made this area a must-see for visitors who come and marvel at Myeongdong’s often frenetic pace and energy. Lotte and Shinsaegae’s massive department stores are also popular draws for both Korean and luxury products. The department stores, just like Myeongdong’s streets, are crowded around the clock. Myeongdong’s many street food carts are also immensely popular for their inexpensive and quirky offerings (French-fry-encrusted corn dogs, anyone?). The neighborhood’s popularity, as well as its close proximity to other popular sights and neighborhoods, makes it one of Seoul’s most popular places to stay.
