Was motivated to visit out of curiosity and a 'need' for a decent western food. Went with 3 friend looking for a good meaty dinner and drinks. The bar-like, laid-back atmosphere was comforting, like easing into a worn in sofa. We ordered the variety of meats and sausages and I enjoyed them all! My two friends weren't too keen on... More

If you are ever in South Korea near an area named Itaewon, you must go to Braai Republic! The food is amazing! From steaks, borewors, lamb chops and chicken to their absolutely delicious Amarula Cheesecake. This restaurant has an amzing south african ambience with that friendly south african service. Visited with friends on Korean st Patrick's day (sat night). The place was packed with an hour wait. We were called in 30 mins and had the lamb chops (from Aus 😶) and Wors. Also the livers and meat pie. My guests were blown away by the hospitality of the owner who is a card. He makes the restaurant and... More

I went to this restaurant after seeing all the good reviews on trip advisor. It was a Saturday night and I did not have reservations. I checked in with the hostess, she took down my cell phone number and called me 30 minutes later when a table was available. The lamb chops (21 won) were excellent although you may want... More

We enjoyed our lunch here pretty much since they did not have seats available and enjoyed lunch at a small and busy place but it was not an issue because food was excellent and worth for value.

Went to this little restaurant in Itaewon. Its hidden in a back alley near the McDonalds, and on the second floor. Limited seating, about 10 tables so I would recommend eating in an 'off' time than standard. We went around 5pm and it was still pretty busy. The food was very delicious, best lamb chops we had ever had. The... More

The thing I like the most about Braai republic is that you can get some stuff there that you can only usually get in south africa. It's a rare treat to get oxtail soup or charred lamb chops or large prawns in a surf and turf ( cooked afrikaans style ) They also have a large selection of south african... More

Simple but delicious food, attentive service, nice owner. If you want a good saussage, mashed potatoes and a pint, this is your place to be. Reasonably priced.
