We ordered both the lamb chops with garlic mashed potatoes and the lamb pie. Both were delicious and exactly what one wants when craving meat and potatoes. The lamb chops tasted like a really good steak - best we have found in Seoul (this is compared to actual steak). So happy to have finally tried this place after 4 years... More

... and the people are v. nice too. Makes this a winner, defintely a go-to place by my reckoning. But there's more... it offers up good food from a place whose cuisine I knew next to nothing about, which I always enjoy, especially here in Korea where the non Korean options are usually either mediocre or pricey or both? The... More

Braai Republic is much closer than having to fly to SA to get some grilled lamb and well worth the search! Meandering down the gentrified alleys for those of us who have called Seoul "home" for going on a couple of decades, it was interesting to see all the changes that have taken place over the years. Braai Republic is... More

I tend to be a vegetable lover and while Korean banchan and bibimbop are go-tos I've had a hard time finding meat here I like. Braii Republic gave me my fix! My husband and I shared the meat platter with lamb chops, house made sausages, creamed spinach, slaw and sweet potatoes. Wow! Everything we wanted. The price was a really... More

Braai is delightful and delicious. Centrally located and nice atmosphere. A little pricey but well worth it.

I've been going to Braai Republic for a while and have tried a couple of their dishes. I love the lamb chops, you just can't go wrong with them. If you're lucky enough to snag a lamb shank on the weekend its an awesome meal! I probably go there almost every every week for a meal. The house wines are... More

We were seated at a "community table" and even though it was Valentines Day, we thoroughly enjoyed the company of various others that came and went at our table during out dinner. We had some really interesting conversations with people we would otherwise never had met, except for the fact that the private tables were all booked up already. The... More

Braai Republic was always a good choice everytime. I would get there early, have a few Hunters and the Lamb chops and mash. This is a great alternative to the normal Itaewon dining scene.

Shared the mixed meat platter which was more than enough for two people (came with two lamb chops and two varieties of sausage, plus sides). Very fair prices and the quality of the BBQ was excellent - the lamb was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I'll definitely be back.

We went here after it was voted number one on tripadvisor and it did not disappoint. We all had the meat platter which was two lamb chops, two different varieties of sausages, mashed potato and the most amazing creamy spinach and coleslaw. It was great. It's not a huge place so I would recommend booking a table and the staff... More
