We visited the place in April 2014. I cannot say if it is the best khinkali restaurant or not (because in Tbilisi I didn't try khinkali in any other place in my 5 visits to there), but it is definately the most suitable in most case: 1. It is serving very good khinkali of 4 types - potato, mashroom, cheese... More

The place pictured here on Trip Advisor as I write this review is not "Khinkali House" but rather "Khinkali Centre". Both are in the building at 37 Rustaveli. Khinkali House is at the south end of the building, sort of more directly across from the Radisson Blu, while Khinkali Centre is downstairs more in the center of the building past... More

Since everyone hardly speaks English in Georgia, we just relied on our instinct on what to order. This resto was recommended by the staffs from our hotel and we were not disappointed. They served the best khinkalis we ever tried while in Tbilisi.

Decor is really outdated, khinkalis were way too fat. Service is bad, as nearly everywhere in Tbilisi. I wouldn't return.

As the name suggests, everyone goes down some steep steps to this basement "centre” for Georgian dumplings with various fillings from lamb to mushroom. The décor is basic and the staff hardly speaks English but we haven’t found any place that serves tastier khinkali, not to mention that each costs only half a lari. The signature dish is eaten plain,... More

That's THE place to get yourself loaded up on local cuisine. We went there on the last night of our trip. Try the khinkales, katchapuris etc, but beware - the meals are big. Don't try to eat more than 3 khinkales, if you plan to eat anything else. Also, the house wine is superb. All-in-all it's a really must-visit place.... More

This is a great (not so) little restaurant offering great food at ridiculously low prices (22GEL for two for lunch). They have an area for non-smokers with about 5 tables (comparing to the 30 or so in the smokers' section). All five types of khinkhali are great, but I hope you love your cilantro, all three meat khinkhalis have a... More
