We just spend 1 night in Georgia and were recommended this restaurant. Good food, good wine, good atmosphere and nice staff (even though their English is limited). It is advisable to book in advance, specially in the weekend. The show was just an hour or so but it was very nice. We went with our daughter and she was loving... More

we arrived at about 7pm, there was no place in the main hall, where the dancing performance takes place. if you want best watching places -book in advance. we took the only table available near the entrance. i liked that it was not so loud from live music. good food and wine (well, like everywhere else in Georgia), nice atmosphere... Been there couple times, interior looks good, not so great food, had khinkali and kababi, kababi was ok, but not so great khinkali. Staff is friendly but they can get really annoying with extra care they want to show which seems bit artificial and over the top.(fifth or sixth time waitress approached table to clean or replace used plates/ashtray waitress... Local food, local dances, local prices too. International guests and an occassional cheesy Russian pop song. What else can one ask for? Overall, one of the best Georgian food destinations around Tavisupleba (Freedom Square).

This eatery, located minutes from the main square, has a traditional feel about it and is spacious and therefore ideal for parties. The music and traditional dancing takes place mid evening for an hour or so and is very entertaining and a good place to see this folk display if you are into Georgian ethnic culture. The food is acceptable... More

True, if you want to kill two rabbits with one shot, then this is the place to go. Enjoy Georgian traditional dances and local foods here. Make sure you reserve the right table though. The best is the balcony area, as it faces the dance floor and no need to move to watch them,

I high recommend to spend a dinner in this restaurant, you will meet the really georgian culture, amazing food, good traditional dances, good music (not just georgian in fact). The staff i didn´t find the BEST and warm people, but good job.

Food in big quantities, but not very good. The wine is almost undrinkable. If you a sitting not in front of the scene, you will hear something, but you'll see nothing at all (the most important there are the dances, so ...), if you'll come close to the scene, all others sitting in front will be angry.

Sololakis Kari offers an extensive menu of traditional (nothing experimental) Georgian cuisine. Khachapuris are excellent - espeically their vegetable based one, Khinkalis are tasty, very much so. There are also extensive offerings of salads, cheeses, etc. Most of these are worth sampling. The lobio is first-rate as well. The wine list is very limited, mainly run of the mill Georgian... More
