WE HAVE MOVED TO 80 UNIVERSITY AVENUE. Le Planteur opens a new restaurant on Inya Lake, at 80 University Road. Le Planteur (Inya Lake) upgraded even more to the next standard of finesse in quality, standard and ambience!! And so, Le Planteur (Inya Lake) remains faithful to its concept, in a stunningly attractive venue!! It is an exciting and wonderful evolution and change for Le Planteur - but the things you and I love about Le Planteur have not changed.

No idea what the fuzz is all about

After the reviews this is supposed to be one of the best in Yangon. Well, it is overrated! Location is perfect, but we were placed on the windy balcony in the far end corner. The garden was full, but honestly it is huge! The winelist is extensive up to bottles from about 40 to thousands of dollars... read more

Found this place by accident right down the road from Aung San Suu Kyi’s house and sitting on a lovely little lake next to a Buddhist Temple. The location is serene and the ambience very pleasant indeed. The local serving staff are doing their very best to reach the standards of western service and I just lovely Myanmar people so... More

We opted for the set menu and liked the food in general but for 87 $ you should ask for excellency . The food was good but super. The service was not top notch. They served third dish before second. Did not fill up wine when glass was empty. Forgot port wine to cheese. Didnt know the name of cheese.... More

Spectacular old house and grounds on the lake, the food is pretty good. I had the coconut pumpkin soup which was very good, my main (duck) however was a bit chewy. My partner's main (cod) was much better. The desserts were alright, nothing special. The service and atmosphere were excellent! Make sure you get a table in the garden or... More

Had dinner out on the lawn with geese and rabbits around which was quite a special experience, Food was tasty, service was excellent, and we were even driven back to our hotel in their classic vehicle for free! Chef walked around making sure we had a good meal; overall I had a splendid experience and would definitely go back again... More

Phenomenal environment, tucked away down an alley in an old colonial building. We had outdoor first floor seating which was a very relaxied and elegant environment. The food was not the best French food I have ever had, but good enough at the end of 10+ days eating rice and curry. However, the prices were on par with some of... More

This restaurant has recently moved to a new location by the lake with views across the water. We ate in the garden which is attractive, surrounded by tame geese, ducks, white rabbits and a peacock. A set meal had been organised for us. The food was very French style with reasonable quality, small portions and not very inventive given the... More

The place is uncompromisingly beautiful, but the prices are outrageous. In a city of wonderful ethnic food, why would you pay for this? There are plenty of small romantic spots or cozy hotels where you can get European food if that is what you are longing for. However the view, the atmosphere and the service are extraordinary.

They have changed locations and when I heard that I was sad because I really liked the previous one, little did I knew that this one is even much much better! By the lake soooo gorges!! The manager greets us and offers a glass of wine in their new imported wine "slot" machine, really fun and educational! Showed us around... More

After a long hot day out and about sightseeing worth dressing up and having a special meal during your stay here - sit outside in the lovely serene garden amongst the back drop of big umbrellas and candle light enjoying a nice glass of wine and well prepared meal. Not cheap but worth the treat.
