WE HAVE MOVED TO 80 UNIVERSITY AVENUE. Le Planteur opens a new restaurant on Inya Lake, at 80 University Road. Le Planteur (Inya Lake) upgraded even more to the next standard of finesse in quality, standard and ambience!! And so, Le Planteur (Inya Lake) remains faithful to its concept, in a stunningly attractive venue!! It is an exciting and wonderful evolution and change for Le Planteur - but the things you and I love about Le Planteur have not changed.

Simply the best in Yangon

I went to Le Planteur for a birthday dinner and it was my first time at their new (third) location. In the past 10 years this restaurant has only gotten better. The locations improved and with them the food and staff too. Their new location is stunning. They are now near the US embassy grounds... read more

The decor and location are stunning. It really is a beautiful atmosphere, pleasant just to sit there and sip water. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful too. For these reasons I'd go back even though my food was so-so. I've read lackluster reviews of fancy places before and figured the reviewer was some kind of demanding gourmand, but I... More

This restaurant is simply the best in Yangon. The setting is an incredible estate with a beautiful garden overlooking the lake. The food is quite simply amazing. I had by far the best rack of lamb I have ever eaten. This is not cheap by Myanmar standards, but it is worth every penny. You would never find a meal of... More

a French dinner at this restaurant was a great experience. Beautiful atmosphere and interior and table setup were unmatched quality. Friendly staff but food need to be selected carefully. It's expensive. A wide list of premium wine but food options are limited. Don't miss shashimi with Tartar of red tuna.

We go there late in the afternoon and try the business lunch! It was amazing! Food was served in its utmost taste and heat! Decor was amazing - both the food decor and the interior design!! We are lucky enough to have the chance to a little guided tour by chef Emmanuel, a French chef with great hospitality! As a... More

No rivals in Yangon. Food is good quality and presented with passion. Staff are well trained, which is a nice change for Yangon dining. Go there if you're looking for a first class experience in Yangon. There is no better here.

There are two restaurants in same building which we didn't know when deciding to go there. Fine Dining and Bistro. While I was ok to eat in fine dining as I was taking son for special dinner, the front of house staff should have advised us and given us the choice. Setting is beautiful as is decor and seating comfortable.... More

This was my first time in Yangon and my friend bring me to the best restaurant. It is a nice place well decorated. The staffs is very attentive and the food is good for Myanmar as I understand the supplies difficulty. They do have a big selection and range of wine by the glass at the first level. With reasonable... More

We went for a nice family dinner to le Planteur. The set up and the ambiance was as nice as in the previous place. The service was just stunning. They were silent, but permanently ready to help. The wine list was like a book, other restaurants in town should learn from them how to set up a high class wine... More

I had dinner with my friend not long ago at Le Planteur. I understand that this is the third location for this legendary restaurant. Location could not have been chosen better than on beautiful Victoria lake.Re modelling was obviously done with great care for details and reflects true luxury. On arrival we were greeted by a doorman and a very... More
