When first arriving the setting looks magical. A big, old colonial house with tables set out by a lake where rabbits, ducks and geese were meandering about. The food was good, but as we only had candles it was difficult to see what we were eating and visual effects are part of the general foodie experience. Service was slow and... More

Wide varieties of wine selections and costly for certain selections. Food is good but expensive. Not attentive staff with very poor service. Even reserve a private room, have to rapidly call for service. Only the first visit back in 2013 would consider good but 2014 visits, not value for money.

The restaurant has a nice setting, nestled colonial style villa by the lake. Ask for outside table by the lake during good weather. Pretty geese, ducks and rabbits wandering around were our entertainment. The food in general were good, even the bread was the best I had since I've been in Yangon. However my appreciation were stopped by my fish... More

We had a lovely lunch here on our final day as a treat. It is higher end in terms of prices, but it felt worth it. My friend got the set lunch and loved everything. While I too loved my main, the creme brulee certainly disappointed. Way over heated to serve and sugar top was sticky, not hard. Wouldn't normally... More

Six of us, four adults and two children, had a birthday dinner at Le Planteur. It was almost full moon and the setting was magical with a table on the lawn adjacent to the lake and geese and ducks wandering among the tables. Service staff were very attentive and knowledgeable with a selection of breads provided while we made our... More

Love the setting. Perfect with the ducks and rabbit running in the grass in the evening. Food is best in the city if you're looking for French food. I expected above average service, but it was awful. Too few waitstaff, all running around, and got zero attention. Not cool. For the prices, you need to deliver and pay attention to... More

We ate here on the second night of our holiday in Burma paid for by our tour operator Audley Travel. From the main building candles (the battery type – but don’t let that put you off) light your way down to a grass area where tables are laid out. We were seated at a table on this grass area overlooking... More

My spouse and I spent a lovely evening at La Planteur. The restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated and inhabits a lovely setting on the river. We sat on the balcony which was peaceful and quiet and kept us above the hubub at the bar and the crowd seated on the lawn. Yes, this place is spendy, but it is... More

Good French fusion Restaurant beautifully decorated on the bank of Inya Lake where you can have your moment with fine dining of European food. Good wine and food delicious. Price is expensive only for premium guests especially for European.
