A very well positioned top class restaurant with a very good menu. Obviously caters for an ex-patriate community more than for locals, but after weeks of good local fare it was great to have something different.

Went to Le Planteur for their weekend lunch and food and location both excellent. Ate on the veranda with a view over the lake. Peaceful with 3-4 vegetarian dishes and the restaurant let me have one of these as part of the prix-fix menu. A delightful place for a weekend brunch / lunch.

I was part of a small group (15) tour and our last night's dinner was at Le Planteur. We could choose between salmon and rack of lamb for our main course; I had the lamb and it was great. Our group especially enjoyed being able to eat outside in such a beautiful setting.

The "nouvelle cousine" style is rewarding. The French chef comes to the table and explains his new recipes and creations: the dish I tried was original in tasty French style and I loved the whole of it. The only limitation is given by the lack of space on the sides of the terrace-garden. However, the restaurant interiors and the view... More

We were taken to this restaurant for lunch by our tour guide. Although the address is University Avenue the restaurant is located down a side track, nestle on the edge of a lake. Our meals were excellent. The beautiful location and building added to the enjoyment of the day. There is a choice of indoor and outdoor dining. There is... More

Despite all the great reviews, this place was horrible the whole evening. So bad that we walked out never to return. Want the run down? We called and made reservations for our anniversary (Dec 7th 2015) and asked for a private table for two. My wife an I had been married 2 years ago at the same location when it... More

Spent an evening here with some colleagues. The little lights in the garden make the place seem magical. You don't expect to find such a gem and such a speciality restaurant in Yangon. The ambience of the place takes your breath away. The food is pricey and I would go back if there was an occasion to celebrate.

Dear Marcnus, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry that your experience was disappointing. Our cuisine and food do not focus on being pretentious but good, fresh and authentic and particularly using mainly local ingredients and flavors, with a French twist. This is why we only use noble products, like for example fresh prawns... More
