Truly outstanding! Don't miss it!

Our group of friends spent 8 days in Myanmar -- in Mandalay, Bagan, Inle Lake and Yangon --- dinner on our last night was at Le Planteur and was clearly the best meal we had during our visit to this exotic country. European fine cuisine in a beautiful colonial house setting. Owner Boris is the first European chef in Myanmar who has over a decade of experience in fine European cuisine and excellent choice of wines.

We visited this restaurant as the welcoming dinner on an Abercrombie&Kent Myanmar tour. The facility is beautiful. Can only imagine what it was line in colonial days. Dinner was served on the lawn. Tables are beautifully set. Bread is delicious. Service is excellent. Our menu was chosen by A&K so we never saw the menu. Still our choices were excellent... More

This is a must for dining aficionados! The restaurant is at the end of a dark, dingy street on a lake. The building is new and beautiful with eclectic artwork throughout. You can dine inside or by the lake and the French cuisine is superb! The exterior lighting is wonderful!

The sunset was beautiful with wonderful lighting at night. The food was good. The decor inside was amazing and different. Check out the ladies wash area.

Le Planteur has become a Yangon fine dining institution. Having recently relocated to an inlet of Inya Lake, it continues to present dining al fresco among pet geese and rabbits. The food is amongst the best in Yangon, and the service is attentive and courteous.

Le Planteur has recently move, and...WOW! what a spectacular setting..astonishing al fresco dining, and a totally comfortable cigar bar, the sort of bar where one puffs away from afternoon to evening, in quilted leather arm chairs which embrace you the snacks served in the cigar bar are well selected, and the dinner menu is as good as ever..but the thing... This restaurant is an icon in the food and beverage scene of Yangon and it was no disappointment during our business dinner recently. The interior is very appealing, the staff knowledgeable and the food and beverage on offer is impressive. I will be back!
