Food was fine but service was disappointing. The focus was on the large tables and not those with one or two couples. Our starter arrived before we'd even chosen the wine. Then we seemed to be forgotten. For the last night of our holiday it was a real disappointment. BUT the garden is nice and restaurant has a charming chauffeur... More

When writing this review I took into account where the restaurant is located and when you look at the local quality it stands above most here. I was picked up by the Classic Vauxhall for my dinner at Le Planteur, as mentioned it is a colonial house in nice gardens and the dining takes place outside in the backyard. The... More

Great food cooked to perfection, loved the livestock, the setting is breathtaking. Sadly the service was abysmal. Probably due to several large parties there ahead of us but plan ahead. We waited nearly 45 min to order drinks and it went downhill after that. The lift home in the Morris Oxford helped.

I enjoyed especially the location (on the lawn under the stars and surrounded by the well lit garden) and of course the food. I chose the set menu which was good value overall. My wife chose a la carte. The staff were mostly polite and well trained with a couple of slightly less well trained ones. they tried to serve... More

This was a wonderful experience. We had the pumpkin soup, shared the giant prawn and forbidden rice warm app and the 7S lobster spaghetti and Chateaubriand. All dishes were cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding and the setting was spectacular! The only small annoyance were the rabbits - who have becomed accustomed to being fed and the mosquitoes. That... More

liked the garden, tables, land scape, food, wines and drinks disliked the attitude of the waiters and waitress towards color people especially local customers, no worries if you are white, you will get extra care service

We had a dinner for two. I started with a pumpkin red curry soup. The flavors were settle the soup was not overly creamy nor spicie, it was wonderful. We then shared a fish dish, the fish was fresh and flakey, cooked perfectly. The vegetable placed under the fish did not add to the dish. We ended with a cheese... More

We had the most wonderful night here on the last night of our holiday. The setting is simply stunning and really is very special. The food was first class, we opted for the set menu costing $78 per person. Well worth every dollar! The wine list was also excellent and was nice to have some decent wine! Service was at... More

Enjoyed our last dinner of our honeymoon in this beautiful restaurant with an unique atmosphere. It was a surprise gift organized by our agency so we had a degustation menú which was more than memorable. Specially remarkable and tasteful the tuna carpaccio. Never before had such a delicate and tasty carpaccio, absolutelly fresh and perfectly combined with a sesame and... More

This is one awesome restaurant, FULL STOP. While the food was above average it is more about the ambiance that really sets this restaurant apart from any other I have eaten at. We were seated in a backyard whit rabbits, geese and ducks wandering around the tables. The food was European whit a Burmese twist. This was all set in... More
