WE HAVE MOVED TO 80 UNIVERSITY AVENUE. Le Planteur opens a new restaurant on Inya Lake, at 80 University Road. Pleasant Meal

Food was of a high quality, service was variable. Our main waitress was outstanding, but occasionally got a young guy who didn't know what he was doing and tried to guess telling us they didn't provide 2 services, that we then got. Some training required for a high end restaurant!

We only go there for business dinners. They hardly disappoint us for that. They are great and proper, but to go there casually or family gathering, maybe not. Personally, i don't feel warm and relaxed, though they have a beautiful garden next to the lake.

I enjoyed my whole dinner there with my colleagues after work on the business trip. The decor and the top quality services and food made all of us feel completely satisfied even though the prices charged were not low. The atmosphere there was wonderful for a nice dinner and we were so impressed with almsot everything there that we almost... More

This was a great experience from the beginning till the end. The restaurant itself is in a colonial style with beautiful decoration and a very nice garden (with ducks, birds and other animals) next to the water. We had a very good glass of champagne when arriving and some nice appetizers. We were brought to our table and all took... More

Le Planteur is a French restaurant built in a giant colonial house. Every detail is present to the eye, and the general ambience is very nice. The food is delicious, typical main course being between 40$-80$, and well worth it. My last visit, I had a curry crusted fish which melted in my mouth. The wine bar and wine cellar... More

I went there at several occasions for the past 12 years. In the early 00's, needless to say that this place was a balloon of oxygen in the context. But le planteur could make it happen. We were enjoying so much. Over the years, they have always managed to raise the bar. Great place, great people, great food. Go there!

My husband, 15 month old daughter and I enjoyed a simply stunning long lunch in the alfresco bistro at Le Planteur yesterday. The tapas share plate was generous in size and full of flavour, the Zarzuela - Spanish seafood stew was one of the most delicious meals we have ever eaten - anywhere in the world and the ambience of... My burmese friends held their engagement party here. Great food. Great wine. Hidden away and very romantic. They segregated an area just for the party guests.
