Best breakfast in Yangon

this is the best breakfast in the city with a wide variety of local food. I liked the local tea which comes with condensed milk as well mango and guava juice.

After a whole night of traveling and partying with the locals, its great to look forward to the next day and start it off with a wonderful breakfast at this outlet in Sule Shangri-la. I love the selection of the food. The staff were very accommodating as well. Everything about this cafe is excellent and it really got me eating... More

I had the international dinner buffet at USD 32 nett on a Fri, 22 May 2015. While Cafe Sule is large, well-laid and pleasant, it is not exactly a posh restaurant befitting of Shangri-La. What stood out was the excellent quality of food and the impeccable service. At USD 32, it is a little steep but taken as a whole,... More

I have been to Yangon and the Sule Cafe 2 years ago, liked it back then - and still liked it this time ! Staying in the Shangri-La the Sule Cafe is the easiest option for getting dinner after a long, hot day out in Yangon (just be careful and take a jacket, the aircon is pretty cold in there... More

I'm usually totally over buffets, but this one is good. The selection is large though not exhaustive, preparation and presentation is superb, and every item I had was very good, as in spot on. They offer good mix of mild Indian (Incl plenty of Vego), some Chinese, soups, noodle bar, Japanese, seafood, meats, and salads. A well balanced and interesting... More

We had a great time having buffet dinner with Friends. It is located in Downtown Area. Nice Decoration, Varieties of Foods available out there, and among all, my favorite is Seafood especially Sushi & Crab. Varieties of desserts are available, too. Overall, it's worth for spending ur time.

I love the prawn curry served in this restaurant and had it for lunch. The buffet breakfast has a very wide and delicious spread. They even have a section for local delights. I miss the Myanmar tea as it's so fragrant.

This place is located in Shangri-la hotel, ground floor. Food is very good. Staff is very attentive. Price maybe a bit high but value for money.

The Café Sule was on my list of places to eat while visiting Yangon. It is located in the Shangri La Hotel. Very nice hotel if you looking to travel first class. I found myself at the Café Sule twice back to back nights. Awesome international buffet, definitely something for everyone, the desserts were great, lots of work was put... More

I loved the breakfasts with an array of fruits, cold cuts, cereals, bacon, omelets, juices -- and selections from many cuisines. One day I had Indian, another day it was Japanese. And the dinner buffet was super. And to accommodate diet issues, gluten free-, egg free-, sugar free- items were available. Really great treat. Service was actually quite good, I... More
