Well worth it

This is highly recommended by the guide book which is clutched in the hand of almost all foreign visitors to Yangon. This book does not always get it right but they did with this one. They are used to foreigners and have a picture menu - English is spoken too. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Pay... read more

This was my first meal in Myanmar in 2007, and the same in 2010, 2012 & 2014. Big steaming cauldrons of biryani out the front give you a visual taste of what is to come. Who needs a big menu.....Mutton Biryani or Chicken Biryani.....nuf said. Succulent, tender, delicious.....mmmmm

Amazing value for money, good portions and delicious food whether you eat meat or not. Many of the choices are set meals and quite a few are vegetarian, which is just as well because we are veggie. We ate there twice and ordered a set meal each time and thoroughly enjoyed what we were served. Both evenings our bill came to... More

Good biryani, not Moghul style, but flavourful nevertheless. Also very tasty curries. Try the mutton vindaloo. A very good value restaurant. Upstairs pleasantly air conditioned.

This no-frills Indian spot doesn't look like much from the outside, but every one of the several dishes we ordered was fantastic. If you are near the center of Yangon and want some quick and delicious Indian food, check it out.

It's a shame that we went twice and the indian biryani had finished but had north indian food...which was good and tasty. The nan and chicken tikka masala was very good, and the Falooda was the best. A definite recomended place when in Yangon.

A chain with numerous outlets in Yangon, the main location serving a slew of a la carte options as well as combination platters. The items I took in excellent in flavour and texture, as close to real Indian food as anything I could imagine in Myanmar (where food termed 'Indian' is only a vague approximation). I love a good dhal... More

They serve the food in big portions to an okay price. I ordened an alee (potato, but more like falaffels) masala with naan bread and a banana lassie which was really delicious and perfect spicy. So it's a good choice for indian food!

Good Indian food for a fair price. Portions are also generous. You order and pay at a counter and they bring you the food. We didn't have to wait long for the food. Banana lassis are delicious, but the masala chai were actually a bit disappointing- spicy, but made without any sweetener. Does not taste like the real Indian chai-... More
