The food is amazing, there are so many things I would recommend and I suggest to come here with a group so you can try it all. The place itself is very cozy, set in a colonial home once housed Bogyoke Aung Sans office. I particularly enjoy eating here for dinner because they have live music in the background! If... More

Hidden away, this old colonial building still retains its colonial charms. Nice gardens, pool table and live music on occassion. Good Myanmar food, not too pricey. We didn't book but plenty of room if get there early.

it is not visible from the main road but when you arrived at the doorstep, you will be captivated by the beauty of the colonial house The prices of the cocktails and beer are very reasonable, especially during happy hour. I favor their Thai and Myanmar menu and servings are quite a big portion. The staff are friendly. You will... More

Good food, highly recommend the pork curry with mango pickles along with the coconut rice makes it a worthwhile visit. The servings are very large but the kids seem to give their approval as there was plenty to choose form the menu. There is live music on the ground floor and quieter seating upstairs. We sat up on the balcony... More

I really enjoyed my visit to House of Memories with my girlfriend who recommended it very highly having already visited a couple of times with expat friends. A great menu of traditional Myanmar cuisine, along with Thai and Chinese favourites. I particularly enjoyed the Chicken Curry. The only annoying thing was that there was no beef so we opted for... A really surprising restaurant. It may not deliver the knock out punch on decor but that's not why you go to eat out. They dish up tasy, decent portions and offer a range of local curries, yummy coconut rice and a selecrion of other foods. Surprisingly wonderful Myanmar and asian influenced dishes. The most pleasing thing would have to be... More

A bit far from downtown but really worth it! It was our introduction to Myanmar food and did not dissapoint. The menu is divided in Thais, Myanmar and Chinese food. Think there where 200 options on the menu. Way too much! We had typical Myanmar food as it was our first night. All was recommanded by the friendly waiter. Great... More

This restaurant offers really tasty and delicious Myanmar food which is neither spicy nor oily which is just the right choice. A restaurant was used to be Aung San Su Ky's father - General Aung San's office in Yangon. Not only the food, a spacious room is a good place to have nice chat with friends and family makes me... Beutiful old colonial villa, close to Shwedagon Pagoda. The place is very authentic, with live music in the lower storey. You can try local, Thai, Chinese and western food. You can also choose coctail from extensive menu. Coctail is just average but food (we tried local) was really nice. You can order also wine, there are decent variety. The place... More
