I have no idea why or how this place is still open. Their pastas are worse than ready made pastas from the supermarket. Although there were plenty of waiters working, the service was terrible. The service staff were forgetful, inattentive and seemingly incompetent. If you are looking for good Italian food, decent portion sizes all for a reasonable price go... More

A few days ago me and two friends visited Cafe Dibar's new location, all of us were craving for good Italian food. When we walked in the atmosphere was promising, however as soon as we saw the wine cooler we should have known the exterior was merely providing the illusion of good food (they cool the red wine at 6... After a year of living in Yangon, I finally dined at Dibar. I expected another rip off Italian joint but was pleasantly surprised. The prices are cheap. Portions generous. Except for the Seafood Sardegna which is composed of calamari, prawns and anchovies, which I ordered. I had to order a minestrone soup to supplement my main. The soup came late... More

Nice. But lives off its name. Food is average at best and overpriced. Go to Vista or Cocoon instead, or SS cafe, if near new university rd

I have been to this place three times. Di Bar is quite recommended among foreigners since this place delivers comfortable atmosphere and good dishes. Gratin, paella and pizza are fairly nice but.... still small for those who are craving for something after trip or work. Staffs differ person to person. Some are quite kind but others not. No wifi.

I have eaten in Cafe DiBar many times on my visits to Yangon. The staff are great. They are very friendly and offer excellent service. All menu items are very good. The lasagna is the best I have ever had and it is consistently good. There is a choice of beef, fish and vegetable so all tastes are catered for.... More

I randomly found Cafe Dibar and have to say it's a good surprise. I tried the mushroom soup and the lasagne and both were very tasty ! The setting is nice too, especially during the rainy season, as it is an indoor restaurant - actually like an Italian restaurant in Europe. The price are quite decent and the location is... More

Went to Cafe Dibar at the start and end of my trip. Enjoyed the food thoroughly. My friends and I shared a pizza while I had the seafood risotto. It comes with mussels, a big prawn and even half a flower crab! Not a bad portion for the price I'm paying. Very tasty! At the end of our dinner, the... More

Lovely decor with old posters and pictures and frames, though sometimes it looks like that the pasta inventory is being used for decorating the place! Pros: - Lovely lasagne - Sea food assortment also quite decent - Very conveniently located Cons: - Very limited assorted of wines - No desserts other than gelato :(

Middle-of-the-road cafe, popular with Rangoon locals. Taking our cue from tripadvisor, we tried the lasagne amongst other things. It was a tasty meal in a home-made style. We washed our food down with a nice bottle of red wine at a reasonable price. This is a nice, homely cafe for a decent dinner and somewhere to go with good company.... More
