Good introduction to Burmese cuisine, excellent service

Had my first meal in Yangon at Feel Restaurant. I took the advice of many reviewers, and fitted in Feel Restaurant whilst planning for my travel itinerary with Myanmar2Go. Was very impressed by the service staff, for they laid and set up the tables really nicely for my group. Dishes served were... read more

We enjoyed our last lunch in Yangon here. The service was excellent and very fast. As soon as you arrive you are seated and plates are distributed and you are given a plate of vegetables/dipping sauce along with bowls of broth (warning, out of fresh bamboo season they use sour bamboo, a fermented bamboo shoot with a fowl rancid taste).... We often go to the Feel branch in Dagon, near to U Wisara Road. It has a nice area to sit outside. The food is good and reasonably priced. We normally go for one of the many curries on offer from the 'buffet' inside. This comes with soup and ngapiyay (fish paste sauce with blanched vegetables). The kyay oh (noodles... More

The most convenient and fastest way to get introduced to burmese food. Wide range of local snacks and dishes. It's definitely more expensive than those you will find at the roadside but why not pay a bit more for much cleaner food?

If you've ever been to a nasi padang stall elsewhere in Southeast Asia, this is the restaurant version of it in a local setting. Very busy, very popular, but as food is ready-cooked, service is very prompt and no frills. You head to the main counter to pick your food. They are not labelled and not much English is spoken,... There were many people at the restaurant. The food is great and the decoration is traditional style. Everything is perfect except for the crowdiness. Good place to try out traditional Burmese food.

It was in easy reach of our hotel and provided an excellent range of inexpensive meals which were delicious. Service was provided with smiles. The nearby gelato service was a super plus.

This was recommended by my friend for foreigners because the food was clean and you won't get sick. There were a variety of food the choose from. Communication wasn't a problem and all we had to do is just point. We had 7 people in our group and filled the table up with food and drinks costing us only $50... More
