Visited 50th Street Bar after reading about it on Tripadvisor. Visited on a Sunday and it was a little quiet around 3pm. Only a couple of people in the bar. Nobody smoking when I arrived and stupid me didn't notice the ash trays everywhere. When the food arrived so did the smokers and they puffed away throughout the meal. Couldn't... More

This is your basic pub with decent atmosphere. It's spacious and you can get a beer quickly. We only had drinks and no food, and the service was fine. I said to my wife that I felt like I was in a sports bar that you could find anywhere back home. It's average across the board. This may be exactly... More

If you miss Sports Bars, cold ones and Fish and chips...this place is for you. Not cheap on food though, but very good. Week ends brunches are a must. Highly recommended.

Nice westernisez place to escape from the real Yangon. Great food but not a cheap place. I recomend the butter chicken which was one of the best I have ever had.

Stopped by for lunch and it was reasonable, but our daughter in law found a long hair in her rice dish. The waitress was apologetic and offered a new dish, which was declined. I was impressed that the manager came up to us and apologised personally, and later with the food bill omitting any charge for the affected dish. Well... More

Hard to find, my cab driver got all turned around but well worth the trouble. In an off the beaten path part of Yangon, walking into this bar feels like you've walked into a pub in Brooklyn or Chicago! Big screen TV's with football on and a great vibe. Where the ex-pats hang out! Full liquor, wine, and draft &... More

Ok, so you don't come to Yangon for pizzas. But this place has some awesome pizzas. So if you fancy watching a game, having a beer and sampling some great pizza, go here! The staff are great. The decor very NYC. So maybe home from home for some people. definitely worth a visit!

If you want food you can get anywhere, come here. It does burgers and fish and chips for those who need it. Personally, I thought it was a shame to eat here when in a city of so many tastes and experiences as Yangon

It is not placed in a crowded area. I was alone and actually I was a little scared when I did not see many people on the street near the bar. But well, at the end, it is worth for a ticket. I really like the cosy place and funny bartenders.

This place is quite unsuitable for children in the evenings at weekend, unless you want to subject them to the overpowering stench of cigarette smoke. It would be good if the management could install some of the smoke removers which are available.
