If you ever need a time out in Yangon, this would be one of the best place to hang. A majority of patrons are expats but I do see a more hip generation of locals. Food is your typical bar food by hard to come by in Yangon. Short ribs are one of the best I have had anywhere in... More

In any other country, 50th Street would be average, but you have to remember you are in Yangon, Myanmar.... so it gets an extra rating point from me. I liked the décor and ambience. The service was good and the beer was cold. We sat down on the really well used leather sofas, which were very well worn and would... More

This is a very nice cafe, pub, restaurant, bar, you name it. The food is very good and so are the drinks. Staff is professional and friendly. When in Yangon, check it out. I will be back for sure.

Loved the decor! Service was amazing, impeccable. Staff was really attentive and assisted with enabling wifi on my phone, and offering to charge it without my asking then to. I would recommend heading to the bar for a drink or two, just to mingle with friendly locals.

This is a German pub popular among expats and locals alike. With friendly staff and service, good western food and reasonable pricing (they only accepted USD, if I remember correctly), it's a nice place to hangout. Location wise, it's a bit out of the way and the live band was below average and difficult to listen to. It's the only... More

The place is not along a busy street that makes it ideal for relaxing and small group bonding. Cozy atmosphere, good food and wide selection of drinks.

Good looking pub with nice stained wood furniture but a little out of the way in Yangon. None the less it was a great respite. Staff and service was good, western food was welcome. Local band, a good mix of locals and foreigners suggested 50 Street has been round a while. With things looking up more of these places will... More

50th is a great spot to go for a drink or a lazy meal. The food wasn't awe inspiring, but still pretty good. Reasonably priced food & beverage, friendly staff & a good setting. Just a pity it's not nearer to the main streets. Finding it at night was a bit of a trek. Also it's smoky, but apart from... More

Generally friendly staff. International atmosphere. Lousy food. Somewhat expensive, particularly food relative to variable quality.

50th Street will wash away your Asian food travel blues. It as if you have walked into a time machine, Myanmar being behind the times, and 50th St. at the cutting edge. The pizza is very good, and I had a Seared Sea Bass that was off the charts delicious. Do not expect normal Myanmar prices, but the prices certainly... More
