A gem

The food was lovely and the service very attentive but not over-fussed. A definite gem in Yangon. Although we dined, some singles 'worked' on laptops, the wifi is free.

The atmosphere was very nice at lunch time. Lots of natural light through the big windows. There was a good selection of Southeast Asian food. All the dishes we ordered were very good. Initially, I dismissed this place as it is clear to be targeting tourists but then when the food tastes great I don't see anything wrong with that.

Cuisine is edable here unlike majority restaurants (though they don't deserve to be called so) in Yangon. I had tried three dishes. All of them was regular. Nothing special.

Our guide brought us hear for lunch. She ordered a variety of local dishes. Soup, salad and entrees were delicious. The atmosphere was clean and bright. Would come back again

The cocktails were very well made, apple martini, gin fizz, very good. The starters were a kind of cannelloni with a spicy sauce. My main was squid stuffed with pork, like lulas recheadas in Portugal, very good . Very nice dinner.

We 'killed' two birds with one stone.. Delicious lunch at Monsoon and a visit to Pomelo next door to spend our left over cash. At Monsoon we were able to choose from a variety of Asian cuisines and all meals were received most favourably. The cocktails were also delicious. After many meals at simple restaurants it was nice to visit... More

In an old colonial house. You as if you have gone back in time. Food great too ....sections for all parts of SE Asia. Visit Pomelo the NGO craft shop almost next door before you go in (shop shuts at 9pm) as it has beautiful, contemporary mementoes for a good cause.

We turned up here for lunch without a booking and were shown upstairs to a lovely room. There were 8 in our group and we all ordered Burmese food. It was very tasty and the service was fine. We then went next door to Pomelo to buy handicrafts.

I was a little sceptical after reading all the reviews here as didn't know what to expect as opinions seem to vary. We had no complaints. We had top service, tasty food, and well made drinks. Nice decor, although not particularly fantastic "atmosphere". Overall a pleasant evening.
