A different kind of setup more European . Staff were good but the food very disappointing. My husband suggested the cheesecake was off & the waitress laughed - it was very sour!! We would not recommend it.

Good selection, friendly staff, good comfort food. Bar seemed to be filled quite regularly so obviously a favourite haunt for the expats

This place was great. American style, western sort of restaurant/bar. Great value meals and wine.....music and darts there also. Staff were really cool and we loved this place. Definitely worth going. It's out towards the harbour where the cruise ships come in, only a 5min bus ride from town.

Disappointed that it didn't have the microbrewery as advertised, but we weren't disappointed with anything else. The restaurant was decked out in paraphernalia was the American West, movie stars, cow and deer horns with cowhide seats, fantastic. There was what one could say was a Texas style menu, large serves, delicious food at very cheap prices. Drinks were also inexpensive.... More

We went as part of a tour of Port Vila at night, the staff were super friendly and the manager (Chris? I didn't catch his name) gave us a great meal as part of our prebooked tour. The beers they brew on site were very good, the porter had a good oat/rye flavor but we both preferred the Tex/Mex (lighted... More

One of the best kept secrets in Vila. Probably due to the fact that it's a few minutes from the town centre.Well worth the hassle, just make sure your taxi driver knows what it is and where it is before you get in. Hopefully that shouldnt be too much of an issue now that it's becoming more well known and... More

Really enjoyed our meal here. We just felt like something simple and tasty so we had hamburgers and the owners own beer, Seven Seas. The meal really hit the spot and was exactly what we felt like. This is a great place for a casual meal. Highly recommended.

I visit the War Horse regularly so it's about time for a review. The beer. I understand the beer is brewed in-house and it is very good an reminds me of beers/ales I've drunk in New Mexico, USA. I regard it as an ale rather than a lager. I think there are only two types on tap, or at least... More

Highly recommended place for a drink, feed and fun, they have live music every Friday night and run fundraisers for all the local charities
