A great place to hang out for the day. The Beach Bar is famous for its wood fire pizzas, but offers a large choice of alternatives as well. The kids just love playing on the beach with all the free water toys while Mum & Dad relax in the beergarden. Sit back and enjoy the stunning sunsets over Mele Bay whilst enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. Keep an eye out for the special "Friday Night Fire Dancing" evenings, Tuesday Movie nights on Port Vilas biggest screen, right on the beach and Sunday Sessions with our great new show "Sunday Sunset Circus"

visited the beach bar while staying at hideaway island a few weeks after the cyclone came through. Very friendly staff, great food and atmosphere. Sadly tourism has suffered since the cyclone, amazingly the beach bar survived and is as good as I remember from last time I was here years ago. Will definitely be back! I hope others start coming... These guys have been awesome, putting up with our team in the aftermath of cyclone Pam. Like a home away from home. Open for business as usual. Great food and great company on a beautiful sandy beach with pristine waters out the front. Take a swim while waiting for your meal. Awesome after dark entertainment

We had 2 meals at the beach bar this trip and both were very nice. On friday nights they have a fire show and sunday night is a circus with trapeze etc. Great place for a family to go on a fri or sunday night.

We were staying in Port Vila and were recommended to this restaurant for its fire show (and pizza). It is at a great location, on the beach near the jetty to Hideaway Island (which is another must visit) and thus is a great spot to sit in, take refreshment and watch the sun go down. On top of this, time... More

We were lucky enough to be staying on little hideaway island during a very quiet time and the whole experience was blissful, including our time at The Beach Bar. This bar/restaurant right on the beach was right at our doorstep, we frequented as much as we could during our short stay. Food is great and at good prices, as are... More

We were told this was a “must do” on a Friday night. Our resort arranged for a bus to collect 10 of us and provide return transfers to the Beach Bar. Cost 800vatu return each which is cheaper than normally charged as I believe most bus drivers were quoting 500 vatu each way as its about 15-20 mins out of... More

We went to this bar a couple of times while waiting for a taxi to pick us up. Great fries and the coffee is good. The ladies toilets are very clean with nice hand wash(sounds silly but this is important). Its well set up and a good spot after you have been to Hideaway Island. You can swim right off... More

My partner and my kids were mesmerised by the Beach Bar's Friday night fire show. I'd been to one before which was pretty spectacular, however this show went for an hour and the performers creatively used a huge range of fire objects, including skipping a rope on fire and all the usual batons and (no idea what they are called,... Beach Bar is a little bit out of town so expect a 15-20 minute bus ride from the town centre and for the bus to charge you 200 pp rather than the standard 150 pp for town destinations. We stopped in here before taking the ferry to Hideaway Island. We didn't spend too long here as we were the only... More
