A great place to hang out for the day. The Beach Bar is famous for its wood fire pizzas, but offers a large choice of alternatives as well. The kids just love playing on the beach with all the free water toys while Mum & Dad relax in the beergarden. Sit back and enjoy the stunning sunsets over Mele Bay whilst enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. Keep an eye out for the special "Friday Night Fire Dancing" evenings, Tuesday Movie nights on Port Vilas biggest screen, right on the beach and Sunday Sessions with our great new show "Sunday Sunset Circus"

Beach Bar and Fire show.

Magic setting in an open planned beach bar. We took in the local Fire Show which was very entertaining. Well worth a look.

Tables and chairs are actually on the sand, very good for lunch, with reasonable prices, lovely view of Hideaway Island.

Fire show on Friday nights and Kumala chips with an ice cold Tusker! Cant beat it! Wifi is great except when there are a million tourists of course. The bar is fun, has great cocktails, is slightly out of town but not a problem if you're staying at Hideaway Island as its only a quick boat ride home. However if... More

Just stopped in for a few drinks, ended up staying for hours and then coming back the next night! Really good peaceful location overlooking the water with the tables and chairs set up on the sand.

We were staying within walking distance so we visited the Beach Bar half a dozen times during our stay. The food is nothing to write home about, average not great. The pizza's are the best bet IMO. Having said that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bar, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the setting is outstanding. It is... More

Went with some friends on Friday night. What a great fire show. The pizza I had for dinner was also good. It is a little out of town, but definately worth the trip. Especially good if you have children as the whole place is child friendly. Word of warning, it is a CASH ONLY establishment

We spent lots of time at The Beach Bar with our 11 month old and 3 year old, it was the perfect spot for us all...lovely food, friendly staff who love kids, relaxed atmosphere and a sandy beach (a rarity on the island and so necessary with a crawler!) with loungers and shade. Loved it and miss it!!

A nice spot, out of town enough that it is quite but you aren't going to need to go for a trek to find it. Picturesque views of Hideaway island and the surrounding lagoon. Bring your swimmers for in inflatable slides that are available. Food does the job, nothing amazing. I would recommend having a few drinks and watching the... More

My partner and I stayed on Hideaway Island for our trip to Vanuatu so it was very easy to get over to Beach Bar for some of our meals. The food was acceptable but not overly cheap. The drinks were very good but again not overly cheap. They often have different free events on at Beach Bar to entertain visitors,... More
