Description: A great place to hang out for the day. The Beach Bar is famous for its wood fire pizzas, but offers a large choice of alternatives as well. The kids just love playing on the beach with all the free water toys while Mum & Dad relax in the beergarden. Sit back and enjoy the stunning sunsets over Mele Bay whilst enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. Keep an eye out for the special "Friday Night Fire Dancing" evenings, Tuesday Movie nights on Port Vilas biggest screen, right on the beach and Sunday Sessions with our great new show "Sunday Sunset Circus"

The huge crowd makes it a bit tedious but worth the visit to get to see it. It is very suitable for family viewing and all well covered and polite presentation with a thrill too. The pizzas were the best in town. We hqd qnother fun night with you. The main waiter has been there a long time and really... More

Friday night at the beach bar with wood fired pizzas. If you're more than one or two people, it's necessary to reserve a table to guarantee yourself a seat. When making the reservation I was informed that we had to arrive by 5:30 to make sure our table wasn't given away (this wasn't strictly adhered to: a table behind ours... More

Raucous and casual place on the beach with lots of local characters, good food and cold beer. There's a craft market in the parking lot and great swimming for the kids. The pizza was good, could have been left in that very interesting for another 5 minutes though.

Friday nights mean you MUST be here!! the food, atmosphere and location are amazing enough...but add to that the fire show and you are in paradise! Outstanding show, entertainment and experience. We go each visit and never tire of this!

Easy access to Hideaway Island and has good food and inexpensive cocktails. Has free shows on Friday and Sunday nights which are worth seeing. Good service and good if simple food.

We went to the Beach Bar as stop over to Hideaway Island and then it began to pour a beautiful tropical rain so we settled in with cocktail and chips! Overall, great place for a relaxing stop with or without kids.

I watched the free fire show here on my trip to Vanuatu and the whole experience was amazing. The restaurant is right by the beach with great views of the water, Hideaway Island and the sunset. The pizza and chips I had were tasty and I was very impressed by the quality of the show they arranged for FREE. Great... More

This place was reccommended by the New Zealand couple who owned the villa we were staying at. I'll agree, the wood fired pizzas were excellent as were the sweet potato chips. Cocktails were very reasonably priced, but what we were most impressed about, was the Friday Fire show. This show was put on by a troop of local young men... More

Don't get caught without CASH like we did. After a fun morning zorb balling we had to pay for that in cash at the bar and had to scrounge for extra $'s to be able to eat. Luckily they do change Australian dollars for you.
