Description: A great place to hang out for the day. The Beach Bar is famous for its wood fire pizzas, but offers a large choice of alternatives as well. The kids just love playing on the beach with all the free water toys while Mum & Dad relax in the beergarden. Sit back and enjoy the stunning sunsets over Mele Bay whilst enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. Keep an eye out for the special "Friday Night Fire Dancing" evenings, Tuesday Movie nights on Port Vilas biggest screen, right on the beach and Sunday Sessions with our great new show "Sunday Sunset Circus"

We really enjoyed eating here, it had lovely views and the food was great. We all had fresh fish and it was delicious and plenty of it for a very reasonable price. Go for it...

Had a good night at the beach bar. Meal was very tasty and they catered exceptionally well for coeliacs by having a choice of gluten free options. Casual and family orientated venue with a sensational fire show by the local youth which added to the night.

They,my wife and I were sadly disappointed by the pizzas. Don't know what the cheese was but definitely not mozzarella. Ham was maybe a dozen pieces the size of half a matchstick. The pineapple was also minute and as it is a staple fruit here we were surprised by this meanness. The "steak"sandwiches were avery small potion of gristley meat... More

We have just returned from 3 weeks in Vanuatu. We Stayed in Mele bay and thw beach bar became our 'local' while we were there. Fire show was terrific but get there early to get a seat and a park. Performers were passionate and engaging. Highly recommend. Do try and give money when they pass the bucket around for tips.... More

Had been to the Mele Cascades first thing off the ship and stopped in at the Beach Bar for a drink and early lunch afterwards. Beach Bar is only a few mins from the Cascades and also close to the Zipline and Zorbing activities. As it was only around 11am we had plenty of tables to choose from. Great outlook... More

Whilst staying at Hideaway Island Resort, I caught the ferry across the bay to enjoy a lovely evening at the Beach Bar. Wonderful atmosphere and very delicious wood fired pizzas. Well worth a visit whilst on Efate!

Good food at a great price. Kids loved swimming with the local families. Music is great and Friday night fire dance show was very impressive. Get there early.

We found this cafe by accident and had lunch there. Good food, plenty of tables, friendly staff, yummy menu, clean bathrooms and right on the beach. It has lots of atmosphere and is close to the Meles Cascades, the Zipline and Zorbing. Good access by bus and everyone seems to know it.

The fire show on Friday nights is one of the best nights out in Vila, book a table and get there early to enjoy the sunset. Wood fired pizza, burgers and fish and chips etc all cooked fresh, and reasonably priced. Relax on the beach lazing on a sun lounge, have a cocktail , kids can play on the blow up... More

We visited the beach bar twice when we were in Vanuatu. The wood fired pizzas were beautiful and very good value. The general atmosphere and location were also amazing and a great experience. The fire show on a Friday is incredible and everyone will enjoy. Only downfall is the service is slow especially on Friday nights when it's busy so... More
