Nambawan became our go to spot in Port Vila town. The food and drinks are reliable and not over priced. The service can be a little slow, but that matters less when you are relaxed. We enjoyed breakfast here on quite a few occasions, good eggs and not bad coffee.

Nambawan Cafe is located on the waterfront in the centre of Port Vila. It has a Melanesian stick construction which provides it with plenty of atmosphere, and there is plenty happening around it to make a drop in for a drink, and a bite interesting. Coffe and snacks ok without being fantastic.

Lovely location to sit and watch people go by. We sat and watched P&O depart Port Vila and saw the sun setting on a beautiful evening. We enjoyed a couple of good pizzas - fairly good service. I unfortunately had a very bad cocktail but overall the experience was good. Price of food pretty good comparable to other restaurants in... More

Nice cafe with pleasant, outdoor, undercover seating. It doesn't look like much externally, but the tables are clean, the service is prompt and friendly and the food was much better than I expected. The butter chicken curry was particularly delicious. It was unfortunately not available when I tried to order it again. Caesar salad was also very good. There is... More

but OK for a quick fairly commercial/western-style lunch. The tables (being outside) could do with more of a regular clean given the birdlife around!

Great to sit back and watch the world go by, close to the markets and the main street to buy all you need.

This gorgeous little café is right on the beach front. A lot of ex pats eat here as do the pilots and paramedics. Really quick service. Awesome value for money. We had bacon and eggs and it cost 700 vatu. I asked for poached eggs and they were cooked perfectly. My husband had fried eggs and they were also cooked... More

We called into Nambawan café several times a day as it became our favourite hangout for a drink, snack or meal. The staff were amazing and very friendly, could not fault them at all Will definitely go back there on our next visit

Right on the waters edge, looking out towards Iririki and Ifira Islands. It's beautiful. Locationwise it's fantastic - fairly central and close to the beach (you can swim straight in front but it's not a sandy beach), close to markets and downtown area. It's busy all day every day, which speaks louder than words could. The prices seemed to be... More
