Le Cafe du Village was, years ago " the place to go", but sadly over the last few years the place lost its passion. With a lick of paint lots of love and wonderful helpers and a brand new fully equiped kitchen we have brought her back to life. Icing on the cake

We were recommended this restaurant and our only regret is we discovered it on our last night. Lovely service, beautiful location and great value.

We had lunch here, the seafood chowder served in a cob was exceptional. The cafe is tucked away down an alleyway, it is a lovely surprise when you reach it. The decor is fresh, the view is lovely, and the service is second to none. The meals are reasonably priced and good value for money, I would definitely recommend this... More

If you are looking for a great meal (dinner) with sunset and great views of the Port Vila bay right from the waterfront, this is the place to go. Has both indoor and outdoor seating and some great food and beverage selections. And it is right in town and just a walk away from the popular hotels and apartments.

We just happen to find this place as we walked along water front, painted in blue and white thought it was a Greek Restaurant but no. Lovely meals with a delicious seafood chowder in a small cobb loaf, definitely worth a visit late afternoon for drinks and sunset

This cafe is in an amazing position right on the water and suffered no damage during the cyclone. We had watched them preparing the cafe for opening on our last visit about a year ago and were concerned about how they had fared. All is good. Lovely friendly helpful staff, good food, amazing outlook and a wonderful feeling to the... More

Another busy place in Port-Vila where you can always find someone to talk to if you're alone. Lesly, the manager or supervisor (sorry don't know) is very professionnal and competent and the place would not be the same without him being there.

This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Port Vila. It is a secluded place right in town with a great atmosphere and amazing food. The tuna sashimi was fantastic and the indian beef curry was nothing short of tasty. We sat along the edge which had a fantastic view of the lagoon. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall... This was our favorite dining experience in Port Vila by far. A cozy patio facing the water, with delicious menu options. Like most venues in Efate, service is relaxed, and prices are what one would pay for a restaurant back home, or even more, but at Café du Village it was a quality dining experience. Certainly preferred over some of... More

There are many reasons to like this restaurant. The food is excellent as is the service. Friendly attentive but not intrusive service is complimented by a really lovely atmosphere. The tables are set out on three levels all with water views. The decor is really lovely, white walls with blue trimming. The other really nice thing about this restaurant was... More
