Well worth a visit

We had lunch here with our driver Clement while out for the day. Beautiful setting on the lagoon. Had to try the local famous Coconut Crab, and it was lovely! Happy, friendly service. Clement said he loved his Fish and chips!

This restaurant sits over the lagoon so the location and view over the water is spectacular. The meal was very good as was the service, we would happily go back. It was one of our most expensive meals in Vanuatu so it is definitely not for the budget conscious.

We have visited here on 3 prior occasions and had never been disappointed. I had the Coconut Crab ( again )done in chili sauce - the chefs ( Samson ) signature dish and I reckon it gets better every time, my wife had the half lobster ( entree size) and it was also another hit. Keep up the good work... More

My sister and I went here on our last night in Vanuatu on recommendation and we loved it. I had the steak, my sister had the seafood pasta. Both cooked perfectly. We each had a cocktail - not the strongest mix, on the expensive side - but enjoyable. The restaurant is tucked away, you wouldn't know it was there unless... More

Loved the crepes, beef wellington & the onion soup. Very nice terrace out on the water - ate here daily for a week as we were in house and loved it. Gorgeous at night with the water lit up and all the fish in view - just a pleasant during the day.

Need I say much more? It was superb and well worth the visit to Vila Chaumieres. In our search for a decent place to eat Coconut Crab we had Vila Chaumieres recommended several times, so decided to go with the fact that so many people can't be wrong and we weren't disappointed. The portions are big (but, then again, so... More

Went here for our last night in Vanuatu. Lovely location with dining right on the water. You watch fish swim around while eating. Food was of a high standard. I had the Tahitian fish salad (essentially ceviche) and my wife had the coconut crab. Both were delicious. Only just missed out on a 5 star rating due to having to... More

Had a lunch there. Very good service and food. Had a steak burger and some chicken and rice. Very good quantity and taste. Sitting is on a deck on top of the lagoon. Very beautiful. They won awards for best service and food for few years.

This restaurant offered great value, and good food. Wife and I started with a duck liver pate, and for the main tried the coconut crab cooked in garlic and butter they had on offer, and for the price it was great value. With a natural kind of jungle ambience which i thought was great, as we were sitting over the... More

We ate breakfast here each morning of our week long stay, we also ate dinner here during this time too. The restaurant is located over looking the beautiful lagoon perfect for watching sunsets and the fish and starfish just below your table. The food was delicious, the night we ate here I had the scotch fillet and it was cooked... More
