Wandered down main shopping street and the blackboard said: "Combination seafood curry with rice" as a special. Absolutely nothing special about it- 3 prawns, a few pieces of crab meat and at least three sausages! chopped up in a curry sauce made from curry powder- So much for traditional vietnamese! In addition it was really expensive. Would not recommend this... More

We had a couple of hours between our flight from NZ landing and our domestic flight to Tanna, so we headed into town for some lunch, and quite by chance we happened upon Joe's. I t seemed quite busy (which was a recommendation), and we went to see how long before they had a table available - they said "ten... More

Ate here twice and highly recommend for casual dining. Open until 9pm, with outdoor seating, large menu, great specials.

Good little spot just in town on the street - authentic Vietnamese and you can get a beer but felt that it was a little basic with not enough chicken in the soup.

The dish I ordered (beef with lemon grass) tasted good and was an average price for dinner (1800 vuv I think). Although I enjoyed it, the dish was extremely oily and I'm not sure I would return.

Yumm, had a great lunch here on a very rainy day! Pork spring rolls, with ice burg lettuce & Noc Cham dipping sauce. We shared chicken and cashew & vermicelli rice noodles with pork & vegetables both were delicious. We will be going back for more spring rolls, definitely!

This is cheap and cheerful right in the middle of town. Good soup but not much chicken and the prawn wraps could have done with homemade vietnamese sauce not just standard sweet chilli. but still tasty.

Joe's was recommended to us to try Coconut crab and we weren't disappointed. Quick service and tasty. Price was reasonable and the restaurant was clean and tidy. You can dine outside. The vietnamese meals we saw looked authentic.
