Bat Soup!

Order the Bat soup, but have a camera ready for your expression when it arrives to the table! All of the food here was tasty, and the portions were MASSIVE! We had the clam pancake, which was great, and the fish was the freshest in the island (so we were told). If you want to try local Palauan food... read more

Great place to eat while in Palau. Kind of tough to find, but local cabs will take you there easily. Large portions of food with probably the best prices in town. I had fried fish which actually was not deep fried but rather more sautéed with excellent flavor. Most dishes have a Japanese style to them. I am no foodie,... More

This is my favourite restaurant in Palau. The setting might be considered simple, but the food is good. Here you taste that the food has been prepared by a chef who took great effort to provide you an superb experience. Food that is good for the body, mind and soul! Price is really good.

The restaurant is not a fancy one, but it offers a very friendly atmosphere and very tasty food. The portions are large (double than most of what other restaurants offer) and rapidly served. Do not miss the clam sashimi or the fish soup. Ifyou want to try something very exotic, you can ask for a fruit bat soup (one day... More

We decided to visit carp restaurant after reading these positive feedbacks. However, the food was very disappointing... we had mix tempura, prawn tempura, bat soup, fried noodles and giant clam sashimi, tempura plates are terribly greasy and I wouldn't even call it a tempura instead of a plate of over-cooked vegetables (check the pics). giant clam was cut into chunks... The owner of this restaurant is Palauan / Japanese and the food reflects both cultures. Lots of fish, and native dishes. I really like the food and have gone several times. The papaya salad is really delicious. I dropped the rating slightly because service is usually slow, but worth a cab ride over. Don't be fooled by the exterior either.

Ok last night of our stay we did not want to go far and finally asked a front desk person who said I have the perfect local place. He said follow me and we did out the back gate, do not tell anyone as I am not suppose to show this to you, cute, and out we went and to... More

This restaurant is a bit off the main track (as much as this can be in such a small town). You will not see it driving along the main road in Koror. But we had a recommendation and hunted for the restaurant following instructions. Well worth the effort. Good food, large portions (perhaps too large). We went back for another... More

I don't know why people raved about this restaurant, the food was terrible. We ordered tempura, which had no batter on it and a greasy mess! The shashimi was fatty and disgusting. The only thing good out of the 3 dishes we ordered was the garlic rice.
