We had a tip before leaving for Noumea to check out this place. I am sooo pleased we did. We had dinner and the food was fresh, delicious and not pricey. Its hard being in Noumea and trying to find a decent feed for a decent price. This place will appease that. The wait staff speak very little french so... More

A friendly place, for a nice dinner. A trendy place in Noumea, serving good chief "cuisine" made with fresh seasonal products from the local market.

Often Hard to get a table so booking in advance is essential. The Menu is always changing and there is always a surprise to try. Great selection of wine.

I was dining alone. It was past 1:00pm. The restaurant was busy but no matter - I was happy to wait. I was told to sit at the bar and after 20 minutes I realised that the host had forgotten about me. I showed myself and was shown to a table immediately. Then came the good stuff. The tuna tartar... More

Despite being to Noumea several times, this was our first visit to Au P'tit Cafe. I expected more tourists given its high Tripadvisor ranking. It is not within the Anse Vata tourist precinct, and it does not have the views of other well known restaurants. However, it is easily reached from Anse Vata by bus 10 or 11. It is... More

While I was living in Noumea this restaurant became my favourite. They consistently serve high quality French Cuisine mixed with some local flavours/ingredients. Make sure you book a table as opening times are limited and the place is always packed, especially for lunch. Don't expect staff to speak english, but they are friendly and helpful. The only downside to this... More

Please note that this restaurant is only open Tuesday to Friday which is a real pain when you have climbed up the hill from Coconut Square.

After reading reviews on trip advisor my husband and I booked a table. We were not disappointed, the food was amazing. The atmosphere was very nice, although no views as in other restaurants in Noumea. The service was also great. We are going back today.

I came to Au P'tit on spur of the moment last week with no reservation- lucky I was solo and at 11.30 (opening time) as they were fully booked out. The manager was good enough to allow me to dine at a table that was booked for 11.30. They bring a menu written in French with about 5 or 6... More

After a disappointing start to the day of missing le betico to the isle of pines (it left 10 minutes early) our day was saved by heading to this fantastic restaurant for lunch. We called ahead to book but there were quite a few available tables. The menu was all in French, but our waitress helped us through. We had... More
