An interesting experience. I am not sure if we were the butt of an April fools day prank or a "French" ignorance situation. Every time we ordered either drinks or food there was an issue. 1 person ordered an entree that never materialised! The 3 mains were delivered at the same time and were average meals a medium steak was... More

The place is modern and clean. No chichi. I had a piece of duck with a sweet banana sauce and some fried chips. The piece of duck was cold and chips were missing the second round of frying. An good unusual presentation. They could do better.

Very reasonable kids menu and good food for the adults. Not cheap though, like most of Noumea. The scallop and prawn pastry starter was delish. Veal mixed grill also very good.

My meal was obviously pre-prepared and heated up. It arrived luke warm. The wine I ordered arrived after the meal was served. On the pricey side considering service very ordinary and the restaurant wasn't busy.

The food is good but it's pricey just like most restaurants at New Caledonia. The pool next to it was too noisy with kids still in the pool yelling and screaming after 7pm!

The food isn't stodgie but ceRtainly not haute cuisine. Expensive for what you get and not disimilar to other restaurants nearby. Better food to be had elsewhere

Everything ! the place is ideally situated but the food was bad and the prices are over the top. Eating oyster which were fresh but no lemons to spare, because the chef or the waiters wouldn't go to the market whoch had plenty lemons!! the fish was drowned in oil, the beef cheak was tasty but dry. All we received... More

Ate at La Terrasse 3 times (+ a dozen times for breakfast) for dinner & was never disappointed. Service is high class, food is very good to excellent. Tuesday & Thursday is Prawn Night (at 4600PF it is not cheap) & worth the cost. Lots of crevettes to eat! Tuna is currently popular item on menu. Deserts are formidable! As... More

Do not go to breakfast here, the selection is very very poor. It is overpriced, if you are staying at the hotel go elsewhere for breakfast. All tables were covered in used crockery and cutlery, we had to find our own clean cutley and the 1metre buffet was empty of everything yet they still charged us 44000 franc. Do not... More
