For a nice treat I went to this restaurant. The views at sunset were fantastic and the food was of a good standard. A little pricey but you are paying for the view as well

Food at this restaurant is delicious especially the deserts. As it is a revolving restaurant we had great views while eating our meal. Staff are very friendly and the service is terrific.

4 Jan 2014 - Sat nite - 30% full. However, fantastic view and excellent service. Fine dining food I would give 7.5 out of 10. T-Bone steak was a bit tough. Lamb chop dish served as a rather large thick slab. Could have been sliced and displayed better. A bit pricey but generally it was a nice night and not... More

We dined here for Christmas lunch and arrived a little late but we're still welcomed warmly by the restaurant staff. We were staying at the le meridian which closed its fine dining restaurant for the day. After the mixed reviews we were a bit hesitant especially regarding the price. But what a fantastic surprise this restaurant was! Prices were by... More

This restaurant only fame is the view. The menu is restrictive, the dishes are like you find too often in this kind of restaurants a creativity from the chef, they would do better keeping to the traditional recipes. The service was average, not what it should be in a expensive restaurant such as this one! Noumea has many better restaurants,... More

The chef Laurent Essner, is a genius. However, we got to the restaurant last Tuesday at 13:30, walked in, could not find the maître de sale, then found her when we walking around the restuaurant...she huffed saying it was late but she would ring down to the kitchen if it wasn't late..said it was OK and didn't bother to offer... We went to this restaurant twice, once for dinner and then later for breakfast. To be honest dinner was great and really yummy, but very expensive and as it was night we really didn't get the benefit of the view. Note though there were two blackouts over a wide part of the city whilst we were there so that was... More

I'm interested to read reviews by others as there's a mixed bag of perceptions recently. We had great service and great food on both dinnertime visits while we were there - we were so impressed with the first dinner (when we weren't quite hungry enough to go for the full experience) that we went back again on our final evening... We decided to go to see the view and try the food as well. The views were amazing and such a great way to see all around the Island of Noumea. I had the duck and was very disappointed as it was gamey and tough. My entree of tuna was bland whereas my husbands meal was delicious. The cost was... More

The Parisian Taste was recognizable. If compared to any prestigious restaurant, the food was average. Food was rather expensive but the location was worth it. They were also plenty good dishes. The restaurant is very appropriate for a romantic dinner or simply for business.
