Traditional French

Although our French is very limited one of the staff could translate the menu-sort of 70% and we decided to go with the flow :-) We ordered what we did not understand and ate like kings! The portions were very big and I suggest you share a starter and a desert! The price was good and the food... read more

Well known restaurant located in Latin Quarter, walking distance neighborhood from the downtown of Noumea. Restaurant is small, but with a bit of that French brasserie character. Service had few hiccups but nothing to dramatize about. Food is nice, although be careful if you order snails. I guess it wasn't my lucky day, as even though they were served with... More

If you feel home sick from a french bistro this is the place to go. Do not expect french sophistication, you are in a bistro. Glassware is variable but the setting is true to it's genre. The wine list is surprisingly shorth. The portions are Vegas style so share !

Menu was completely in French and hand written - so was very hard to decipher, even if I could speak more French! However, the waitress spoke very good English and was happy to translate. There were a number of more 'out there' foods such as Veal Head and Tripe Sausage, but also some more 'normal' things, such as Stuffed Calamari... More

Restaurant full of Japanese that I believe it is a part of a deal with a tour operator, well served and full of attention with them. Our welcome wasn't so bad, Menu choice for a small restaurant was quite good, wine menu was ok, our waitress bored for some reason but was helpful with standard quality service. Ray was good... Friendly staffs. We arrived with no reservation and the place was fully booked but they set up a table for us outside on the terrace. Gorgeous food and wine. Will be back next time in Noumea.

Having located the number eight restaurant on Trip Adviser ‘Chez Toto,’ we decide to partake in a late lunch on the footpath tables. A nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and one tuna and one mahi mahi ordered. Clearly the chef must have been sick and some deranged madman was in the kitchen. We had seen fresh local tuna in the...
