The restaurant is not over-crowded, so eating here is a pleasure without too many people making it noisy.

Three of us were walking past and decided to have lunch on the spur of the moment. We all had the blackboard lunch special. Two courses both delightful. Good fresh ingredients prepared simply but with style. The veal entree was a beautiful combination of flavours and the lemon Chicken main was a wonderful taste sensation. The waitress was very friendly... More

Went for a Saturday evening meal. The entree chosen by us both was a seafood [prawn?] filled ravioli. Disappointingly overworked linguine pasta which was overcooked, thick and tough. The mains were much better. Also had Italian dishes on the menu but looked to be banquets. Beats us how this place rated number 14. Did not eat there again but we... More

The complementary toasts with bruschetta and taramasalata were a nice start. Had the duck ravioli and the marinated prawn and scallop salad for starters. The duck ravioli was delicious, the salad wasn't great, raw zucchini was bitter and the prawns were marinated in lime juice which made them very tart. We both had the duck breast for main, I had... we had fine dining experience as very good food. Everybody enjoys. Extensive Menu that include typical French specialities such as ¨ ris de veau ¨ that were well prepared and cooked (not easy to do so). One small thing is service is a bit long. Honest wine list and on the whole not too much expensive for a good Noumea... More

This was the highlight meal of our trip. We had foie gras to start which was heavenly. We had three different main courses and tasted each. I had Pinteau stuffed with foie gras with pureed potatoes. My daughters had pork wrapped in poitrine fumé in a fig and cognac sauce and a duck stew. Each dish was absolutely delicious. For... More

We went there for Christmas Eve so they had a special menu. The food was very good and reasonnably priced despite the occasion. The only downfall was that we had to wait ages for our desserts because they were too busy in the kitchen but they did not really apologise or offered a coffe or drink as a compensation.

Once you realize things are expensive in New Caledonia then budget accordingly then you will be OK. Our meals were cooked to satisfaction and well presented. An entree, main, desert and wine will easily set you back $100. The mahi mahi fish and duck were delicious. It's a quiet spot.

We enjoyed a tremendous meal at amadeus. The duck was cooked to perfection, and a delicious burgundy complemented the meal well. Two entrees, mains, two sides, two glasses of champagne and a bottle if burgundy; $200aud. Well worth it!
