A simple restaurant in the suburbs with a cosy country feel and serving traditional French food from the Alsace region. The food was quite heavy and the servings large - there was a lot of sausage and ham on the menu. We spoke in French but I'm not sure how well the wait staff spoke English - so take your... More

My husband and I had one evening to fill in Noumea when our cruise ship docked here, so we decided to go out of our way to find a truly incredible dining experience. We picked this restaurant based on its great reviews on trip advisor, and we were not disappointed. What an amazing dinner! We did not speak much French,... More

Had a very nice lunch here, the ambience is calm and relaxing. The service was very good and they did their best with our poor French. The food was very good, we split 2 of the specials that day. We were not disappointed!

We booked at this restaurant on NYE as it was ranked #1 on Trip Advisor. They had a set menu with 6 courses. I loved every dish except their main dish. I think it was duck but we couldn't tell as the waiter doesn't speak English. The French like their duck rare but I find it too difficult to digest... More

we were lucky to book a table with the help of our restaurant. The staff did not speak english that well but way better than our french :-) with a few basic language skills you can guess the main ingredients and than indulge into the fantastic food, highly recommend the place, we arrived via taxi from Anse Vata beach and... A little out of the way but well worth a visit. Quality of the food and service was very good. Dessert was exceptional although very alcoholic!

Positive points: exquisit food, very well cooked, with a balanced taste of spices, sauce, ingredients, and cooking technique. very generous quantities, and subtile tastes of traditionnal french cuisine, sometimes with creative alliances (hot tartare of raw tuna, with seasonning, and a tomato basil sorbet that cools down your palate) : great creativity! we shared one entrée, et had each one... After reading TA reviews we decided to visit and were not disappointed. Luckily we got in without a reservation although we were there at 7 before the rush. Ordered escargot to share as entree followed by confit of duck and cote de porc grile (pork chop) with the most wonderful sauce. Ordered house red (4 glasses in total) which was... More

We visited this Bistro style restaurant TWICE on a recent holiday after reading a good review on TripAdvisor. On our first visit I enjoyed a fish tartare followed by a tuna steak with braised leeks and my husband enjoyed Foie Gras followed by Tête a Veau. The sliced baguette kept flowing as did the fairly priced wine from the good... More
