Walked up for dinner with no booking and got a table straight away. Awesome salad and wood fired pizza. As a wood fired oven owner i asked to see the oven which was no problem. Very friendly and good food.

La Dolce Vita is next to Le Lagon hotel, and serves good food in a friendly atmosphere. We had a couple of means there and thought it was OK for a reasonably priced meal of consistent quality. The pizzas are cooked in a wood-fired oven and are excellent. The home-made lasagne is also quite good. The salads are good but... More

This restaurant is unassuming from the outside, but don't be fooled, the food is delicious. We were served immediately and our food arrived very quickly. The only downside is that one of the waitress was clearly not in the mood, she dropped our food on the table and walked off, rolled her eyes when we asked for something to be... More

The outside may look a bit shabby but once you get inside its quite nice, the service was good but the waitstaff did not speak good english but the menus are in French & English so this is not a problem, I would stick with the pizzas as they were some of the best i have ever had & the... More

From the outside, you may not expect anything great from this restaurant, but the roaring fire of the pizza oven, that can be seen from the road, is the clue to the restaurant’s success. They serve a range of pasta, fish and meat dishes, and we tried the pasta which was pretty good. But there is no question that the... More

Beautiful pizzas. Felt like I was in Europe. Service was brilliant. Noticed a kanak staff member return a wallet someone left behind by accident. Ordered a Marinara and Green Salad + Cheese. Lovely.

Brilliant! We left Casa Italiana before ordering as we were disappointed with the service and attitude of the manager, and stumbled upon la dolce vita on our way back to Anse Vata and Oh what a surprise! Relaxing ambience, nice staff (all of them) and the food was divine. Although we wanted to try as many places as possible we... More

This is the 3rd time I have visited La Dolce Vita. The 1st was a non even as we arrived on a Sunday afternoon and they were just closing. The second time back in April was met with an ordinary experience as far as food goes. The most recent time I visited, I ordered a Pizza, which going by the... More

Handy restaurant to our hotel, staff very accommodating. Meal was very good and reasonably priced. Only thing we did not like was that they put about 2" of whipped cream on the top of our coffees. Yuk.

After such an unacceptable performance for the trendy Pizza & Pasta restaurant in the Hilton complex, we decided to go inland and this, despite the confronting name of the restaurant. Here we found honest Italian food.... a reasonably good antipasto platter, some good local fish, good ravioli and an excellent cannelloni. Prices were reasonable for both food and wine (though...
