We ate here 3 times as it was next door to our hotel. The service was very slow even though it wasn't busy. The food was good enough but not exceptional. The lasagna was very dry, the pasta was very tasteless although their pizzas were very good. Might be a good place to take the kids if you are on... More

House wine was well priced & steak was cooked to perfection. Staff could have given a smile & looked like they enjoyed their job. Don't order the pizza with an egg...it'll be raw & maybe wait a day or so for the chocolate mouse to be fully set! Other than that, all good!

We decided it was time for a pizza night and headed across the road from Le Lagon to La Dolce Vita. I has the 4 Season pizza and the others had a Vegatarian and a Country Style. All done on a thin base in a wood fired oven. Accompainied by a Cote du Rhone red. Good prompt service and a... More

We loved this place and dined here twice. If you like fabulous wood-fired pizzas and Italian food in general, I couldn't recommend this more highly. The menu is extensive with salutes to the French palate. (We shared raviolis stuffed with escargots for a starter - miam, miam!) We washed both meals down with carafes of the house wine, which is... Back from the beach on the main road to Noumea is the inconspicuous Dolce Vita, set back behind customer parking and next to the excellent Le Lagon Hotel. Staying there, we had vouchers on our package which took us to Dolce Vita. We might not otherwise have gone, but are glad we did. Each evening we had in difficulty finding... More

We ate a few times at the La Dolce Vita and the food was very good. We loved the pizzas and all the pasta dishes. A very good selection of dishes and wines and the prices are reasonable for Noumea. Some of the staff speak even English.

Close to Le Lagon Hotel this restaurant offers wood fired pizza, pasta and other dishes. The food is good and the prices reasonable. Staff are friendly and the place is usually pretty full. We ate here three times and would recommend it.

Had a pizza and salad as the wood oven looked very inviting but that's were the positive ended. The pizza was a soggy mess with little toppings and the $15 salad consisted of a few lettuce leaves and 3 slices of tomato and that was it! Very disappointed in the food for the price which wasn't cheap and the salad... More

Next door to Le Lagon this cafe offers wood fired pizza, pasta and veal dishes. The food is plentiful and tasty, and the prices reasonable. Staff are friendly and the place is usually pretty full. Good for families and when you don't feel like spending over $100 a meal for two, which is the minimum for mist places in this... More
