Average food, expensive and let down further by the service and attitude

Went here for one meal only, try next door at Mediteranee, they are around the same price, better cooked food, far far far better service. Had a steak frites and beens with Rocqufort sauce, nice but at over NZD35 not at all good value. Beens were soggy (overcooked), frites were ok but you would... read more

We came across this place for lunch, we chose it because it was busy with lots of locals. We weren't disappointed. Our waiter spoke excellent English, gave us an English menu and had recommendations. You could tell he was told to sell certain items, however he was very happy still when we went with our choices. We had the tasting... More

Very rude staff, meal was poor and not far off from being cold. We had a mojito which was un drinkable and at 2000f very expensive. Spending close to 10000f we felt very disappointed and recommend you avoid this shonky establishment.

Do not come here. We wanted a small meal because we'd been eating all day. We weren't even greeted, the waiter was still putting on his tie while he was serving us and it seemed like a big inconvenience we wanted to eat at their restaurant. Then when we asked for the bill the lady rolled her eyes at us,... More

We decided to dine here for lunch as it always looked busy and full. We were greeted by a very 'flamboyant' waiter who ripped us off. He was rude, overly familiar and unhelpful. I ordered just a bowl of fries - he asked if I wanted sweet potato ones. I said yes so got a bowl of mashed potatoes and... More

The menu was in both French and English, however, the young waiter we had was brilliant. He spoke very good English and was able to translate the specials which were only in French. The meat on the vertical skewer was a top choice.

Took a work associate here for dinner after reading the reviews, service was good but the food was a but disappointing. I had a $60 steak and although the accompaniments were good the steak was tough and chewy not what you would expect for these prices even for Noumea it's a bit too pricey for what you get.

Try the brochette de boeuf! Great family restaurant - but be mindful that unfortunately, smoking is still allowed in restaurants in New Caledonia.

Nice bottle of Rose from Provence to take the heat out of the sun, a well cooked ("saignant") beef fillet for my husband and a totally uncooked tartare du boeuf for me (perfect!). One of the most welcoming restaurants along the Baie des Citrons, and just what we needed for our first lunch in Noumea.

Well worth a visit if you like a good steak or burger. Staff were efficient and friendly and the restaurant was busy which is always a good sign.
