Meal was above average , service was a bit disinterested , lacked a bit of personality. The location was great , the meal came out hot and quickly. Slightly above average for price , Steak was cooked right and not bad quality. Would go back

As the name means "at the butcher" in French, it specialised in beef. The menu offers other options as well but the bulk of it, is steak. The cote de boeuf... More

Had an average burger with disinterested service for lunch only once. Waitress was unable to remember to bring ketchup after being asked twice. Lots more bun than burger. Won't go back.

Great steak menu and we loved the steak tartare, best we have had in many a year. Casual atmosphere, staff are very friendly and obliging especially when our French is very limited. Nice setting overlooking Baise Des Citron. We had luch and dinner during our stay, both excellent

From Anse Vata beach it is about a 20 minute stroll to this casual style setting. Great for a casual lunch , salads are very good and try the fresh juice well worth it.

My brother and I shared the tasting platter for entree and followed up with rib fillet with fois gras and a rib fillet on the bone. They mixed up our orders (ie I got my brother's steak with my side dishes and vice versa) but we just swapped steaks and hooked in. The wait staff were courteous and the prices... More

Starting on a general note, reviews about New Caledonia seem to imply that it as an expensive place to holiday. Compared to Asia, the answer is "yes". Compared to Australia, the answer is "comparable" if at times even "no". Remember that you are in France in the South Pacific. This brings me to O'Boucher. As the name would suggest (butcher),...
