Great Food, Friendly Staff & Value for money.

We visited here twice during our stay. Normally we only eat at a place once but we were so happy with our first visit, we returned a few nights after. On both occasions, the staff were friendly and spoke good English. The decor is slightly dated but clean and simple. Casual dress is fine. On... read more

This restaurant was recommended to us by our Hotel front desk manager. We were not disappointed. Authentic French cuisine in a simple but welcoming environment. Staff fluent in in both French and English. Made ordering easy. All very friendly and welcoming. Very big and complex menu. Something for everyone. Beautifully cooked and presented. We had lobster, veal, scallops and eye... More

The first visit was because it was close to our hotel - I had the tomato salad and the cassoulet and my friend had the pate trio and the shelled crab. Both delightful. Next time, because we enjoyed the first visit so much, we went back and I had the fish soup and entrecote roquefort and he had the pate... More

Very friendly staff and delicious food. Don't expect a tiny unrecognisable stacky dish here, it feels more like what food should always have been: Traditional not pretentious, and with excellent quality ingredients. The casoulette was divine, and it's a great way to experience how crayfish can be used in a more original way than just cut in half, and in... More

We wanted to have "real French food" while in Noumea and sent several days looking around before deciding on this restaurant. Checked out the menu yesterday and after checking Trip Advisor reviews we dined there this evening. We both agree that the meals that we had here were by far the best we have had on our 3 week holiday.... More

You will not be disappointed. This place is fantastic. To me it is rustic French. These people know food. The Trio foie gras is huge but so yum. I ate it all. I couldn't stop. The duck with fig was just heaven. Matched with a great st emmillon from laroque chateau- perfect. Still reliving this meal.

From the works that had been going on for a few weeks before reopening this month, we thought the place would be upgraded but, unfortunately, it now looks more like an ordinary cafeteria with slippery floor and uncomfortable chairs than the trendy place one could have expected . The food was not as nice as before ,the waiters only seemed... More

A great taste of France. Fish was fantastic. All on the pricey side but then what isn't in New Caledonia. Wine prices were reasonable however.

We walked up the street and there it was with a lovely greeting from the staff and we were sitting in a homely dining room. The sliced duck and fish we had were great and when we went back another night the duck cassoulet and scallops also outstanding. Had to have the caramel Tart on two occasions what a highlight.... We paid $A160 for a two course meal with a modest wine for two people. My husband enjoyed the New Zealand oysters and the cassoulet St Julien with prawns. I enjoyed the local mahi mahi fish in mustard sauce, although I don't eat mushrooms and the sauce had finely sliced mushrooms in it. My husband regards that as my fault... More
