Le Roof has a beautiful setting and would be terrific for lunch. We went there for dinner and it was the best meal we had in Noumea. It was very expensive however, and although the kids menu was ok the service was too slow for children. We didn't finish a 2 course meal because it was simply taking too long.... More

Awesome restaurant. Expensive but we went back twice because we enjoyed it so much. Get a table inside beside the hole in the floor that allows you to feed the fish including sharks and stingrays just swimming around you. Best lamb we have ever eaten.

This was close to our hotel and we knew the food would be pricey as it was out over the water. It is a lovely setting, you walk out along a pier to the over water restaurant which has a beautiful outlook and a central cut out in the floor to view and feed the fish below. We found the... More

Showed up 10 minutes before 2pm. The waiter told us very smiley that they were not serving because they closed at 2pm. Obviously, not a restaurant for tourist.

Although the advertisement in the airline magazine had a dolphin jumping out of the open 'pool' in the middle of the restaurant (!), the food was terrific. All of the wine was very expensive but for a last night, or special occasion, worth the money for a fine dining experience.

4 Australian couples all thoroughly enjoyed their meals, the salmon, the snapper, the lamb fillet & chops and the duck. The menu description lived up to all expectations. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly and their English far superior to our very limited French. The wines, both red and white were enjoyable. There were no complaints from anyone,... We went here for dinner as was recommended by our hotel. While the menu and wine list were a little on the higher side compared to some other restaurants, the service was a cut above and the location, out on the wharf, exceptional. The main floor of the restaurant is open with veiwing of the ocean below. The fish have... More

Le Roof was recommended to us and did not disappoint. The food was good - my fish main a little strange but the prawn cigars and my travel partners chicken fantastic. The service very good and the view well worth it.
