We saved this restaurant as our last night treat and oh what a treat it was. The staff, food & atmosphere was great! The viewing hole in the floor which we sat next to gave us an amazing view of the reef sharks and the heaters dotted around the room keep us warm. The prices were comparable with other top... More

We decided to go to a French restaurant in Noumea after been on a cruise boat for 2days. Nice food and the place is very cool with the small fish and sharks swimming under the restaurant but was over price for what I had, staff were nice enough.

This restaurant is built out over the sea and was a wonderful spot to have lunch on a sunny day. The service was excellent and food delicious. The waiting staff spoke good English which made it easier for us and were friendly and professional. Quite expensive by NZ standards but probably not for Noumea and we thought it worth the... More

Went to Le Roof for no other reason than we could see it from the Hilton Promenade. What a pleasant surprise The opening in the floor to watch the sharks was brilliant... the ambience was excellent... all the staff were courteous, helpful, spoke both French and English.and were attentive without being intrusive. And the food was superb topped off with... More

Le Roof has a beautiful setting and would be terrific for lunch. We went there for dinner and it was the best meal we had in Noumea. It was very expensive however, and although the kids menu was ok the service was too slow for children. We didn't finish a 2 course meal because it was simply taking too long.... More

Awesome restaurant. Expensive but we went back twice because we enjoyed it so much. Get a table inside beside the hole in the floor that allows you to feed the fish including sharks and stingrays just swimming around you. Best lamb we have ever eaten.

This was close to our hotel and we knew the food would be pricey as it was out over the water. It is a lovely setting, you walk out along a pier to the over water restaurant which has a beautiful outlook and a central cut out in the floor to view and feed the fish below. We found the... More

Showed up 10 minutes before 2pm. The waiter told us very smiley that they were not serving because they closed at 2pm. Obviously, not a restaurant for tourist.
