Expensive - but you get what you pay for. Downside is the drive out from Town or Waigani - need security escort

Easily the best and possibly the only fine dining restaurant in port moresby. Ambience and service are great. Have a good wine list. Meals here do not come cheap especially if you include wine. The food quality can be inconsistent. In my most recent visit the wagyu steak was way over cooked but I have had a great meal in... More

Great food and always great service. I mainly go to the airways as they have the best gift shop in the whole of port moresby for. Locally made gifts when on holidays. I always stop in. For a bite and have never had any issues.

The restaurant was very well appointed, decor was modern and neat. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I was travelling alone and yet felt very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The food was exquisite and very fresh and not a morsel was left. I so look forward to eating here again on my next trip. My thanks to... More

Went with work colleges had a very good evening, but not too many other people there. This is a fine dining restaurant which is reflected in the price. Service was very good as was the food. Would recommend a vist.

With Rapala, an almost tie for Moresby's finest dining. The room is plush and elegant, whilst remaining true to its tropical roots. An extensive wine list and delicious crepes suzette flambe at the table.

At the world class and faboulus Airways Hotel, I finally decided to try this well know dinning landmark - I wasn't disappointed. Firstly, before sitting down I checked the menu to make sure it wasn't terribly priced - it was OK, similar to some of the better restaurants in town and not too crazy. Ordered the antipasti as a starter... More

This is attached to the Airways hotel and has been regarded as the best restaurant in town for some years. Only problem is that it is very expensive.

If you've just come in from the bush then this is very pleasant: white tablecloths, excellent service, good food etc but pricey!! Piano player on a baby grand tinkling the ivories with laid back easy listening music gives a lovely ambiance. It is NOT the hotel main restaurant overlooking the pool and with amazing views as the previous reviewer has... More
