It's a beautiful restaurant located in the center of Georgetown, the food on the upper level of the building is very tasty, and the atmosphere is good. Your dinner portion is very hugh.and the price is right.Give it a try.

The food was very good. Service was a bit slow but friendly. There were many different items to choose from at reasonable prices. We sat upstairs outside and enjoyed breeze while dining. The restaurant was extremely clean (including the washrooms) and the food delicious and served hot! Make sure you visit this restaurant while in GT!

I returned here based on good experiences on previous trips to Georgetown and will return again. Wide selection of food and beverages with excellent service. Also a great place if you are looking for a menu with vegetarian items.

Omg! This restaurant surpassed my expectations! It's very up to date and stylish and the customer service was great! It's been years since I had Chinese food from New Thriving and it was just as I had remembered - absolutely scrumptious!!! Everything was very tasty but their chicken fried rice is my favorite! American Chinese food cannot compete with Guyanese... More

This establishment has a wide variety of Chinese food. You also have the option of going upstairs, or selecting from the specials or the buffet. The servers were very helpful and friendly. They also have free wifi. If you don't have the time to sit down and eat they also have a section of ready made guyanese/chinese specialities eh chinee... More

New Thriving is one of the best experience in Georgetown. Excellent food and service, very professional….The owner was still there at 11:00 pm when we left….This must explain in part why this restaurant keeps its standards at the highest level...

The quest for the right mix of flavor, ambiance and service is like a treasure hunt in Guyana --lots of dead ends and cold trails but when you find treasure, WOW. New Thriving is definitely not it. I've tried it 4 times and always leave disappointed. The worst is that the food is not always fresh. I've experienced that 2... More

well decorated with pleasant and attentive staff. The food choices were great and at a good price. need to get used to the 'hustlers' just outside the entrance looking for a 'tip'

Work can be done on the Customer Service but the food is unique and as expected from Chinese cuisine in Guyana. My only complaint is that everything on the menu is not available at the service center downstairs such as the steamed dumplings, customers have to walk up the stairs to the dining area and make the purchases there. The noodles are great and lobster and buffet are nice to try occasionally. I have often tried it when you are in hurry and want to enjoy some nice rice noodles or pasta
