Quaint

The foods pretty good and the service friendly but its in a dark area which puts me off from going. The new owners are trying.

I go here to get a cold beer from time to time. It is peaceful and the staff is excellent. It is a nice place to relax and drink beers.

I was at this place about 1 year ago and a waiter told me to take off my hat. I am a female and the place is ordinary. I will never go there again.

I try to drop by Dutch Bottle every time I'm in Georgetown. I'm amazed to see some poor reviews here, because I've always found the food to be delicious, especially the fish dishes. Having said that, there's not much competition in Georgetown. The other two good places are the New Thriving Chinese restaurant and the Brasil Churrascariad. Those are good,... More

The place was a small, cozy, colonial style restaurant and bar, and clientele seemed to be mostly middle class, trendy folks. Service was on the slow side, but the woman that seemed to be in charged and who served us was apologetic and affable, so I guess that made up for it. I ordered a pork dish and the girl... More

I have been there twice for lunch -- only based on the reviews here and hoping the cook for my first disaster had changed. But no. The garlic bread was congealed margarine with garlic power...and it wasn't melted (plus was cold), the chicken wings had feathers on them plus they gave me the wrong sauce, the vegetables with the main... The variety of menus available which can melt your taste buds. After leaving Roti Hut , which essentially offered lots of hot curries and local foods, we discovered the Dutch Bottle in Croal Street. The small cozy atmosphere create a suitable ambiance for our group.

Excellent cuisine. Roti hut nearby cannot be compared. We tried their food once but!!! In comparison, Dutch bottle understand the palate of the international visitor. Best of luck to you guys.

Not a bad evening. Even had live entertainment. The food was great. The service was pleasant. The staff was friendly and polite. Liked the atmosphere with its old world charm. Great architectural details. The bar looks like a great place to spend the afternoon.

The lunch menu offers several choices of meat and fish that come with freshly cooked vegetables. It is a very pleasant place with a nice and pleasant wind. Because it is freshly prepared, expect some delay, but still acceptable, unless you are in a hurry.
