The story of Colombian regions and people through food

Either you get to order what you want, or accept the recommendation of a (suspiciously) insisting staff, you will get far more words and entangled descriptions of what you are about to taste, than actual food to taste. Such descriptions are full of (c…) confusing adjectives and over-decorated words you will forget almost as soon as quickly as the flavors... More

This high end restaurant has impeccable personalized service. The Maitre D' greeted us, sat us, asked in general what we like and dislike and made personalized menu suggestions. He told us the restaurant serves regional Colombian food and the chef's goal is to tell the story of each indigenous people or region through the food! I had fantastic seafood dishes,... More

Wasn't flexible at all for veggie clients. The waiter was freaking arrogant about it. Moreover, they think rabbit is not meat...disgusting. If you want to eat only because it is expensive, that's the place!

Not sure why this place has so many 4 stars, i have dinned there a few times and always great. To me one of the best in bogota.

The tasting menu isn't that interesting compared of how Colombian food has several characteristics. It's very expensive and you can't rally understand the dishes. A few were good, most were just ok. My credit card was refused at the first time and I guess the waiter, by some seconds thought I wasn't going to be able to pay the bill... More

Excellent, very original (for non-Colombian) food, beautifully presented. The restaurant is barely indicated on the outside, and clearly targets customers in the know. Nice decorations inside. A little noisy (maybe to cover business discussions ?).

The place was a bit hard to find for us, but it's right next to the ibis hotel for reference. We had the salmon and both the traditional and new set menus and everything we tried was good! Plus the concept of the place was fun, using traditional Colombian recipes with a twist.

After two years in Bogota we finally made it to Leo. Superb gastronomic experience and the chance to meet Leo in person. The food was excellent and truly original, as you won't do often get the chance to taste the fabulous ingredients that Colombia has aplenty and yet not necessarily available in Bogota. Excellent wine cellar, too. Portuguese wines went... More

Some people are raving about this place, but as far as I could tell from a Thursday night dinner, this restaurant is an example of a good chef coasting on her reputation. If you are a true foodie, go elsewhere. Service was really mediocre, some of the dishes were excellent but others were only average, and the overall experience left... More

This restaurant was a jewell. With four other colleagues we really enjoyed all the food. All the recommendations they made were spot. The attention of the staff, including the Chef was superb. Leave space for the desert the cocoa cake and the mousse with toasted sesame and lemon were truly delicious.
